Calling all Vancouver Island furries!

I wanted to let local Vancouver Islanders know that I've been hard at work to put together a furry community just for the Island. I'm aiming for this to be a place where we can organize local events, meetups and maybe even a convention  ;D

So I present to you.... www.vifurry.ca!!

We're already on Facebook and Twitter, and we also have a forum and an events calendar ^^
My goal is that local Islanders can utilize this site to meet new friends, collaborate and finally have a furry community strictly for the Island.

you might want to get hold of torwin hes from the island but now living on the mainland. He hosted and put together a bunch of meets on the island before he moved. Most likely he can give you names of furs living there.

Interesting. Trying to revive ViFurs? I approve.
I live in Alberta now, but the furs I know of on the Island are Myself, Drewdle, Runemist, TJ, Frenchiphant, Gnosis, Brasou, Bandit, Nightfox (Maybe? I heard he left), FireBlaze, Pilot, Pixel, and Tonk.
You might wanna try contacting them. TJ, Drew, and Pixel have organized meets in the past, the most recent having been last weekend, actually.

Veekahr: Thank you!!! I will do my best in contacting and getting the word out to these furs :)

The reception to the website so far has been very positive! Already 5 board members, meeting tons of new friends. I def felt the island was lacking a fur community. So I hope this kicks it into gear a bit!
