any pointers on making a fursuit (updated)

so, i love the idea of quadsuits, i want to make one that looks cool and is easy to wear.
the one im modeling mine after is this one



my head that i have started is make of paper mache and will be cover in fur after. i am making these stils as well but only for my feet, im tweaking them in order to make it easier on my hands as in crouched over more often. but i also want to make it work also for when i am standing upright



so thats my plan for my fursuit and was  wondering if anyone had pointers or help on this idea of mine

please explain (i'm not a furry, this kind of design is new to me)
in the quadsuit, will your human trunk be parallel to the ground -- and you'll be wearing stilts (with tennis shoes at the end) as legs ??
and it's easy to maneuver?

i find them to be cool and i have this weird idea of running around town in mine and useing it possibly to help local business. lol
theirs not much to do in my town so i though if ppl seen a weird dog like costume running wild around town it would be halliours

so i had a quote done for my fursuit, will be cheap and it will be made in Calgary, i cant wait to have it finished and in my hands, i can see all the fun i will have!

I think my best piece of advice would be to make sure you get the padding of the suit right.. The worst thing is when the legs look like they're malfunctioning because of poor padding where they meet the body. Also make sure you add the 'wrist' joints in the right place. xD
Check out Beetlecat's taurg suit if you haven't already. That thing is masterfully padded!

Does a quad suit have to be completely made for the purpose of being quad or can it function as a normal anthro suit and quad suit? Like if you want anthro suit just wear it with normal arms, if you want to go quad use the proper arms with extensions ?

AMZinthos: I came to conclusion in my head that i may not be a quad suit, but it will still have digigrade legs and abs. But i thought also is it will be veritable one day in the future so I hoping.

The extensions i think i will try to make. i like to try things out for my self sometimes lol

Also i will be using my Jay-Wual Concept desgin. this is what i am looking forward to having it look like this.

so i bought some old stuffies and I am taking them apart so i can use some or all of the stuffie to make my fursuit head.

this is what i have done so far, i took the head off of one stuffie and took all the stuffing out and took some of the seams out so i can add some silver fur
