DinoTown, that silly kids dinosaur themed awesome park is shutting down in September! Oh Noes!
I loved that dumb park as a kid, though back then it was known as Flinstone Park <3 I still have a Dino plush that I got from there from years gone by. Its still super cool!

I went there every year with my elementary school. We ate sandwiches and scraped our knees on practically everything in that park. I only went back to it once after it changed from Flinstone Park to DinoTown...and it really was never the same after that. Yet I'm still a bit sad to see it go.

I will miss you paddle boats, how you almost flipped over by stuffing the boat with 6+ kids. Goodbye oddly coloured pedal cars, I always ran into the other kids on purpose....hehehe. Farewell dinosaur mini golf..though you were never as cool as the mini golf in WestEd. Au revoir weird dino parade that scared that crap out of me as a child!

Lest we forget the most bizarre theme park in BC.

Really it's closing? dang it all I say us furs should get together and give it at least one last hurrah before it shuts down... seeing as it's Summer and all... It's sad to hear about this I used to love going there on our way back from family camping trips... I so have to take my daughter atleast once. Would anyone like to join if we have the time and means of getting there?

Wow, other people who remember Flintstone Park! We used to go there once a year or so, growing up in Chilliwack - it was a blast. I loved the boats! Don't think I ever went after it converted to DinoTown, though. I wonder what they'll do with it now...

I remember that place as well, makes me feel old too. I suggest you guys see whos interested in going before it closes, perhaps post it under lowermainland section. Hop into someones car and go during the weekends.
