Things to complain about

Oh, I got one.

When companies put out those "now hiring" or "help wanted" signs on their windows, that's open for people dropping off their resumes. Now, as a whole, that's fine, and it's understandable that managers have to sift through a number of these a day, but what really frosts my nipples is when these folks don't have the courtesy to call the number posted on the resume and say "sorry, you don't get the job", or "we've just hired someone else". I hate that. I call it "false hope", and false hope is bullcrap.

I know it sounds minor and they go through a million resumes a day, but to me, it's a rather big boil.
I understand that scissors can beat paper, and I get how rock can beat scissors, but there's no way paper can beat rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around rock, leaving it immobile? Why can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody; a rock would tear it up in two seconds. When I play Rock-Paper-Scissors, I always choose rock. Then, when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper, I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist, and say, "Oh sorry, I thought paper would protect you."

Well... First off it's more than just a chore to have to call up a dozen or more people... second off it's a hard conversation to have. I can see why they don't want to spend an hour or two delivering bad news to people.

Not that I really care. This is why I quit voting.

I have to say it, but this is the reason why we get so screwed over, way too much apathy regarding politics and no drive to even vote. If one isn't going to even try to vote at all, then there is no point complaining IMNSHO

Icey Dominus

ya you do have a point you have no control over who gets in unless you actually vote it is pointless to get mad if you didn't even vote

I like the spray paint. I like to spray paint. There is nothing wrong with most of the stuff that is out there, not in this city anyway. There is nothing wrong with art, but there is something wrong with a "4:20" leaking down the wall because kids don't have brains. v.v :-[

4:20 and gang signs, and where they tend to be placed too.

I have seen public projects where they openly invite people to spray a wall, but later on some douche turd comes along and spray paints a crappy gang sign or some pot reference like 4:20

Blazingfoxx

ya exactly i like the grafitti that actually has effort put into them with art and abstract if its just going to be some writing saying 420 or a gang sign like ours here "712" lol then its pretty much ridiculous and stupid they dont really tend to catch my interest.
I wanna try grafitti abstract and that one day most likely on something tht no one is going to fuss over

I live in a town full of 'artists' but our city is too 'heritage' to have a wall that we're allowed to do art on. I'm hoping once they get the skate park up next year we'll be able to get some really good art out there. :3

p.s.- artists is in brackets because lots of them are just crazy hippies x.x

Blazingfoxx

lol nioce sounds like me i am a crazy hippy

You know what pisses me off? Everyone. Doesn't matter who it is, there is always something about them that angers you.

An article headlining the Surrey Leader describes the tolls that will be in place once the replacement Port Mann Bridge opens in 2013.  For those of us who have spent our whole lives driving in this region, the concept of tolls must sound foreign.  Tolls are for places like San Francisco and New York, where every bridge and crossing is tolled.  The truth of the matter is that tolling is not a new phenomenon around these parts.  Tolling was commonplace on the Pattullo Bridge until the 1950s and on the Lions Gate Bridge until the 1960s.  This was before our time, and so we have grown accustomed to viewing bridges as an extension of the free road network.  When the Alex Fraser Bridge opened and the Lions Gate went through major renovations, tolls did not appear.  Now the Golden Ears Bridge was build and has tolls; the Port Mann will have tolls, and once the Pattullo Bridge finally gets replace it too will certainly have tolls.

We do not have to pay in order to use a road; we already pay enough for the price of a car, and more than enough for the price of oil.  I understand the desire to recoup construction costs via tolling, but this is going to make going across the river much less appealing.

I hate it when I order at a fast food place and stand there for five minutes staring at the burger that was made for me until one of them finally puts it in a bag and hands it to me. It takes longer for them to hand me the burger than it does to take my order and make it.  >:(

stupid muscles hurt when i get punched why do that have to hurt like common I would do allot better if didn't hurt so much when i get hit. Then again i can get hit and i don't feel anything so i guess thats not bad lol.
Really more of a joke complaint lol

I hate my pay day being jerked around by my new boss who is otherwise pretty awesome, and my coworkers... well actually I think I just dislike people in general today :\

Drake Wingfire

THIS is what I hate...

Checking my cellphone bill today to see that someone is jerking around with the tax system! I know an excuse could be "well they are just prepping for july and I bet it will change by then" But I still see that as just robbery. It shouldn't even be legal to do that. So its either Rogers screwing me over for a cell service that's about as reliable a a car running on 3 cylinders or this is more of the same we have come to expect from our current government...
