Not sure how I feel about the wolves' designs, but I love how the geese are modeled almost directly after Boris from Balto.

I'll agree with Grace on this one. I don't really care for the design either..I think its the 'hair'. Also the story seems to run-of-the-mill to be honest. Though I do love the geese and the moose in the film! But if I was a film critic I'd say pass on the theatre and go rent it instead.

Now I would totally go and see Rio! It reminds me of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs :V

*Sigh*  I heard about Alpha and Omega months ago.  I was looking forward to it with anticipation.  Now, after seeing the trailer, I think we are in for another disappointment.   It will not approach the colossal failure of Furry Vengeance, but again this is another film we have seen before.  It feels like the wolf version of Animal House, mixed with The Defiant Ones/Fled, and even sharing the plot of Pixar's currently-stuck-in-development-hell Newt.  Everyone acts like they are in canidae college.    The character design I hope will continue to develop in the few months which remain.  The humor...Just for once I wish we would get back to a time when body fluids were not required to try and force laughs.  I also wish the wolves did not act like humans in animal suits.  They should be more like wolves and less mindful of how you would imagine a movie about a teenager trapped in a wolf's body (Teen Wolf, anyone?).   The trailer also gives away waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many sequences.  It should have been a minute shorter, or more abstract like the original Spirit trailer.

Im thinking i will watch em both ^.=.^ Rio does look alot better, but i can always go for a good "B" movie ha ha (seems like Alpha and Omega is going to fall under that category)

Alas, now Alpha and Omega will have to end with the dedication, "In loving memory of Dennis Hopper."  Even "Born to be Wild" is playing in the trailer.

Why does everyone hate the design of the wolves? Is it the bottom jaw thing? Maybe thats called different art style? I for one welcome and going to see it. but since I have no RL fur friends, ill probably go see it by myself.

One of my kids really wants to see A&O so I "have" to go see it anyways.  But it looks good, minus the copious fart/butt jokes.

Rio looks good from the one trailer I saw, but I can't stand George Lopez.  His voice drives me nuts! >_<
