At long last!

Well, after four and a half arduous years emcew and I have finally reached the end of the road of immigration. We finally got the letter stating that my application was complete and to await contact from the vancouver office to make the appointment for my landing-ceremony-thing. In the meantime, we need to come up with the 490$ landing fee so I am asking the community if anyone has anything I can do for them for the odd bit of cash (I'm really good with computers) or if anyone knows somewhere where I can get some cash paying work.

Look up "Labour Ready".  They do single day jobs, paying cash, mostly manual labour and such, but it varies a lot depending on your skills.

Manpower is better.  You don't have to wait in their office at 4:30am for a job every morning, they phone you, and pay $5 more per hour.
