How was .hack//roots? I haven't paid much attention to it and twilight just didn't really do it for me.

-Wolf's Rain. When I first watched this I was blown away! It's so beautiful.

you probably wont get attached to any of the characters till about episode 10-11, but after that it's just...bloody amazing!

Wow, I feel very ashamed that I didn't recognize that...I love this anime to death. I literally cried when they did that...he is the single, most respected character I know in the history of anime now. Why, Oh Why...*tear*

I know what you mean...
I find Kittan's (spikey banana bot) death ALWAYS gets to me in episode 25.
...and when Viral has to leave his dream alternate universe...
and just...well, the entire show it just so beautifully done I cant help but get sucked in to every moment :D

Yes, Tengen Toppa  Gurran Laagan is definitely one of my personal favorites, but Baccano! is a close 2nd. Didn't like FLCL that much (shoot me I know).
