For those of you who read this (and don't read the licence agreement screen for firmware upgrades on the PS3's)

Don't upgrade if you are using the boot alternative OS option!

You will lose the ability to run linux on your system as of V 3.21 firmware.

Lots of angry people on the PS3 forums right now, hope they reverse this decision.
