Sorry if this is in the wrong topic, please move if it is.

Turns out I have till the end of the year to locate a new place to store my currently dead car.

The place where it is at now, the lady I'm paying to let me store it on her lot, had a bad run in with the landlord and is leaving the property. I'd be thankful for anyone who can help, otherwise I'm looking at as much as $80+ dollars to store it with a storage company. >.<

It was flipped over on it's back while driving up the Coquihalla highway a number of months back. Insurance is also asking $1600 or so before I can even consider putting it back on the road.

Would it not be better to get another one then? what is it? O.=.o because i know if i did that to my civic  would not even bother, and i even fixed it when it got ran over...

1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. It had every option in it other than the sunroof. Which was probably a good thing. It was involved in a slow roll onto it's roof. Front window is broken. Some panels got bent, maybe some minor frame twist. Engine needs a little clean out and it's fine. Dad originally gave it to me as a gift, he only played a grand for it. But it was in need of some fixing anyways. I already have another car, '88 Aries stationwagon. Which also needs a little work still on it.

hmm... well i wish ya the best of luck trying to find a place... if the A-Pillars are not bent then it should be repairable (if they are damaged, its usually a write off seeing as they are structural and difficult to fix)

Pics?

In my opinion... IF it was me, I'd write it off and get a new one. Repairing a vehicle that's been on a rollover, regardless of speed, are next to impossible to safely repair.

At this point, fixing it isn't an option anyways. If I don't find a place to relocate it, I may have no other option but to throw it out anyways. If and when I do manage to get it fixed, it would mean having to throw out my current car.

As for pictures:

I don't know what the technical details are, but this is an option: http://www.scrapit.ca/. I know a few people that have traded their junkers and sold the bike certificate to buddies.

I'll leave it for now.. I still have a month left to find other options.

See if you have any bites on selling it for "parts" you can potentially make alot if people need em, and if it has alot of options, all the better ^.=.^

where abouts are you? if your close enough i might know of a place.

Jimfoxyboy

I'm in Guildford, the car itself that is looking for a new place is being stored over on Fraser, right across from the rec center about 166th street.

Update:

I'm still looking for help on parking my other car somewhere for a while. I just got off the phone with someone, turns out I still have to move the car from where it currently is and yet I have no idea where I'm going to be putting it. I have till the 31st at the very lates to do something with it. But I'm being told it would be best to move it by Sunday. I'm giving myself an absolute deadline of Tuesday to find something or else I'll have no choice but to send it to the scrapper.

I'm really hoping someone could help me here.
