Revived: Looking for a room in Vancouver

Hello Folks, this is Muru.
I am coming from Manitoba, currently living on Ontario, moving to Vancouver to attend UBC this mid August. (As some of you may know, I originally posted a message saying I'm going to BCIT but, turned out that I got accepted to both UBC and BCIT).

I am looking for a room/ place near west or down town Vancouver, price ranging about 500~650. As long as the commute to UBC doesn't take more than an hour, I am okay with it.

I am a quiet and considerate cat. I'm quite socially adaptable so, I can get along well with anybody. Room mate is always welcome to be my new friend. Some of the best friendship I had came from room mates. Not a smoker, but I am fine with other people smoking and 420. I do my share of house work.
I occasionally draw, cycle, play guitar and video games. Lot of the times you will see me studying, or working on my bicycle.
