Is there a test thread for me to test all the forum mechanics, or a guide to how to use the forum mechanics? Scroll text looks pretty cool

RainRat

Yep, you a certainly welcome to use Forum Help for testing. And the features are standard SMF, so information can be found at: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?action=help

Heh what were you trying to do? You can post your broken code in [/nobbc] tags if you want to directly reference it without it parsing: [nobbc]foo[/nobbc] etc.

I wanted to see exactly how long you could go with the move tags but for some reason all it did was cut off my thing at two difference lengths, and then remove the move tag for one of them completely. Oh well.

Also, some tags down coincide. Move and strike get kinda wonky. For example,  the entire post is stuck in a strike tag, but only the word test actually has strike. Then, the strike tag ends later in the post before I told it to.

Some tags don't nest well, like if I have foobar the contents within (foo) won't be bold, but "bar" will be! It's a rather simple system, but if you can work around it, it's useful for what it's worth.

PS: Marquees are so 90's dude :P

mark whatever may be so 90 but when they are so long as to make it so you cannot see the whole thing at any one time it gets annoying and funny. Like, you won't be able to read all of this because you are probably gonna mess up at some point and the marquee is so long you won't wanna wait for it to loop back. Everyone should just always post in these.
