Digitigrade mecha-stilts made easy!!!

So, I recenty discovered that Digitigrade (hoping im spelling it right) stilts are a thing.
also, there's no 'mechanical/sport' heading so i guess ill stick this here

I've been looking at peoples designs on google, and one company in particular that actually custom makes them. However, all use virtually the same (relatively simple) mechanism. The hardest part of making these is the fabrication of a metal frame; Either you use wood and it looks shitty, or you have to spend money on raw metal, cut it, and weld it.

I however, have got a beautifuly simple solution: Scooter boards. A razor scooter's board is the perfect size shape, and strength for the lower limb/foot mount of the stilt. it also comes pre-assembled with the mounts in the PERFECT places.

I will try making these on my own and get the results, but if anyone is up for the challange, this might be the solution to make these things viable for the average person. Just pick up a pair of scooters from Value Village, get some pieces from princess auto, and tah-dah!

The project is on pause still sadly as I haven't been able to purchase the scooter's from value village as planned. They always get bought before I get there :(
That and my source for tools backed out, so this is still on paper for the time being.
