Kylnncryth

As the title suggests I have been lurking here for quite some time now. The time period is actually nearing the two year mark, so yes, lurking time is over and the time for introductions is in order.

Hello all, I am Kylnncryth. If you are finding that hard to pronounce you may just call me Ky or Kylnn. I respond well to either. -taps a curled claw on his snout thoughtfully for a moment- Actually before I continue I do have something I must address, you see this is not my first time here. A couple of years back, using a different form, I had a profile here...that some of you might remember. Roxxy Starrz, that loveable though sometimes abrasive and offensive foxplacer thingy, yeah that was me.

So if anything this is more of a reintroduction to those of you whom may remember me and a just plain ol' introduction for those of you who don't. I have been a scalie/furry for a very long time it seems like to me, though I suppose 22 years is but a blip to some of the older and wiser furs out there. As to what I do for accruing monetary means, well, I am currently in a bit of a employment limbo that I am slowly clawing my way out of. Oh right my species, durr! Well if it is not apparent from my icon, I am a dragon (and this is my real form). To say that am smitten with the winged, scaly creatures is a bit of a understatement. I have dragon paraphernalia everywhere! Oh and I don't mind cats either, they seem to be drawn to me for some odd reason...maybe it is the genetic similarity that dragons have to cats. -ponders-

Anywho, that is me in a nutshell. Oh and I might actually start dragging my scaly butt out to meets and events in the near future.

Samurai Kai

Welcome Kylnncryth~! I mean, for coming out of the cave for once. *nudges* Nah I kid I kid. Judging by your lurking and the duration of it, sounds like you have a lot of patience, because often times I always feel like I've got to say something, at least somewhere and not everywhere.

I also see that you are Self proclaimed Lord of the Kitties, is that so...? Well, you seem like the kind of person who could fit that role. All cats love me, except my own anyhow. Can't show any love without her getting pissed, she has to come to me if she wants any attention. I don't blame her though I'm the same way- AHEM! Anyway, welcome and glad to have you finally step into the spotlight!
I am but a blade in the crowd.

I have seen what comes of those who raise themselves above others.

Kylnncryth

Thank you for the amiable reception Samurai Kai. My lurking is partly because I have extreme asocial tendencies but mostly because I prefer to read/listen to what people have to say. So in a odd sort of way yes I can be very patient with people of all walks of life, though I have a penchant for the more colourful folk when I am stricken with a bout of extrovertedness.

Yes. Cat's, anthro or the four legged variety seem to be inexplicably drawn towards my lap. I seem to have a slightly weaker animal magnetism that extends to other domestic mammals also. I've learned over the years not to question this sometimes perplexing "charm" and simply accept it for what it is. -shruggs-

I think I can kind of relate with you and your relationship with your cat. One of my mothers cats get's quite agitated with me if I try to show her any kind of affection, if she wants the attention from me she will come to me... which is not often. -chortles- Ah well, there is an epigram that goes something along of the lines of "The owners of pets, often resemble their pets." Though I admit that it may be closer to a clich

Apparently I got character capped on my reply. -frowns slightly-

As for the above issue, the forum had some problems back then and special characters (fancy quotes and accented things) cut off the text, after sending, not in preview for some twisted misfortune.

Sia ixenic qe vilzriquathtor! Ah so that is what the issue was. Duly noted for future non-use of special characters.

Also, thank you kindly for the welcoming. As you are the yang to my yin. -bows respectfully-
