Hey everyone. Loial and I are moving, and unfortunately, soon. We do not have a choice in this matter. There's free stuff up for grabs, as we aren't inclined to move it. This list will be updated as we sort out more stuff to give away or toss if unclaimed.

Note:
- All stuff with the exception of our couch, is free. I don't want a dime for it.
- You must pick it up yourself. No ifs, ands or buts. I will not deliver anything.

Right now, we're giving away the following:

- Desk-hole-plug "satellite". 4 USB port powered hub, probably USB 1.0, maybe USB 2, 2 standard power plugins, ethernet jack. Old, but probably useful in tandem with a netbook you want to use as a browsing terminal or the like. Brand new in a deeply UV faded box.

- One round-bottomed steel wok. This will not be very useful unless you have a gas stove. It does include the bottom ring to set it upright. We have 3 woks. We don't really need 3 woks.

- Beer. Homebrewed delicious beer. Two caveats apply; You will only get beer if you help us otters move, and if you are 19 or over.

- One battered but intact TV desk. Mostly intended for setting a flatscreen TV 3' up or so, with two drawers underneath. Birch finish and blue-grey steel legs & drawer pulls. I've been using this poor thing as a leatherworking surface for a while. It has divots and chips in the top, nail pocks in the front where I used to hang small tools, and has seen better days. It probably still holds stuff admirably, though.

- One box of assorted fabric pieces. Various colors, materials, sizes and lengths ranging from 0.5-2 meters. Mostly solid colors. May include some fur bits or stray leather scraps.
-- Spoken for by Aleria. Claim pending!

- One pair of steel framed glass shelves. The shelves are about 6 feet long each, 2 feet deep. One shelf is missing from one unit, and from experience (this caused the missing shelf!) I do not recommend using them as a TV stand. Take these at your own risk; I recommend replacing the glass with thicker tempered panes. Otherwise they're going to the disposal center.

- One men's suit-coat. Will fit a men's shirt size 15-15 1/2. In good shape; I simply outgrew this and never bothered to donate or dispose of it.

- Several pine 1x4s and 2x4s. These are leftovers from Rainfurrest props and theming in 2011, probably a dozen or so in total. Mostly uncut, 8' lengths.

- 1 USB driving wheel gaming peripheral. Also has foot-pedals. Compatible with PC on USB or with the PlayStation 2 natively. Drivers for this thing are your problem, but as of Windows 7, Windows default drivers still work fine with it. Had many fun hours with XPand Rally and this wheel.

Keep an eye on this post, I'll be updating it regularly as we dig out more stuff and decide what to do with it. I'm not at all happy I have to move under these circumstances. Only choice though, is to simply deal with it and get on with it.

Curious about the wire cube stuff. Any pics available? (wanting to see if its what i think it is XD )
Also, what area are you currently living in? (need to see if i will have time to make it to wherever you are to be able to pick stuff up before you move. Speaking of which, when do you need this stuff gone by?)

Aleria

I'd happily take the fabric! Where are you guys located? I'd be taking transit, is it small enough I could transport it on the bus?

Sairys, Professor: The jumpsuit's for a pretty small figure. It stopped fitting me around 180 lb or so, and it'd be tight in the crotch on a taller person.

Aleria: We're in Surrey. Same building in Guildford that Trapa used to live in. On 104th avenue and 148th st. The #96B, the 320 and the 501 stop at the intersection immediately adjacent to this building.

Ceowolf: Consider them yours. If you're taking transit, bear in mind, this is a box of them that weighs about 40 pounds, and is the size of a large liquor case. There's probably 30,000+ of them.

Temrin: I can try to get some photos of them once they're dug out. They're a steel rod bent into a rounded-edged square with a 1" spaced wire grid welded onto the outside face. They snap together with round plastic knobs that have four slots underneath to clip them together.

Everyone: I'm working Saturday and Sunday, and I have Monday-Tuesday off. I *might* attend sushi on Tuesday night. If I do, I'll let you know, dropoff of smaller stuff can be arranged then at Okonomi.

Yes, it does count as smaller stuff; Smaller means "Can readily jam it into the back of the car", in this context, and seeing as I own a largish station wagon... ;)

is there any particular time/day that works well after 6pm during the week (excluding Tuesdays sushi night)? I would have to stop by after work out in east van so i can get there by around 7:15-7:30ish at the earliest i think

Okay, I could come by on monday after work or any other day in the week (evening, 6 or later) or if you're willing to bring it to sushi that would be cool too.

I believe so. These are very commonly used for convention display because they're easily assembled and disassembled into various configurations. They'd be suitable for little shoe cubbies, T-shirt shelving and other such bulky but light stuff.

I can bring it to sushi, but you will need a vehicle with you. It's a very bulky box about the size of a counter-height bar fridge.
