The room is available for sublet starting March 1st. We have the upstairs unit which consists of two floors and four bedrooms, a mid sized bathroom, a large living room and a very large kitchen with in-suite laundry. There are two balconies (one facing North on the front, the other facing South on the back) and plenty of yard space.

The house is located near the corner of Rupert St. and East 28th Ave. and is roughly a ten minute walk from JOYCE & COLLINGWOOD SKYTRAIN station with the number 27 bus stopping nearby on Rupert Street at 29th. We are also on a few bike routes with Trout Lake and Commercial Drive being about a 15-20 minute bike ride away. Metrotown and Downtown Vancouver are easily accessible via the Skytrain or bus. Free street parking is available for vehicles.

The room available is on the main floor and is roughly 10 by 10 feet, is unfurnished, has two windows, decent closet space and patchwork wood flooring. Rent for the room is $550.00 per month which includes all utilities and high speed internet. No cable or home phone line.

The tenants you'd be living with are two other easy going, nerdy furries and a bad ass law student lady. We like to game and have the occasional boardgame night with friends. We all have day jobs or go to school. We are mature individuals looking for someone who knows how to clean up after themselves and communicate effectively. You are expected to pay rent on time, be hygienic with your person and your space, and clean up after yourself in the common areas.

We are looking for one person, no couples, but if you have a partner they would be more than welcome to stay over a few nights a week. You should be LGBTQ friendly and progressively open minded. This is a house that prides itself on being welcoming to people from all walks of life. This is not a party house but we do have the occasional get together with friends, and are couchsurfing friendly.
