Still have this around, thought I'd give another try at finding a good home for it.

Roland DG LTX-2441 - thermal raster plotter

-Specs & Product Info @ http://www.weartronics.com/products/LTX2441 (not my site, just contains useful info about it)
-Preferably be able to pick up with your own vehicle from North Delta. But I can try and arrange delivery if required (I just ask to cover gas costs).
-Works, but sold As Is.

Great for printing out large fabric patterns!
Uses No Ink!

Highest offer to date was $25 from a pawn/reseller, but would rather it go to someone who'd enjoy & use it within the fur-community, so open to any offers to find a good home for it.

I'll try to answer any questions (if there are any) :3

Wow, any idea what kind of computer you need to talk to it? Like would it have compatibility issues with Windows7? As long as it plugs in to my computer, I imagine I could find a way to get it running in Linux.
Also, I wonder how readily available the paper is?

I'm not sure about Linux, I don't have any knowledge or experience with it. xP

The last release of official drivers available online are Win98, which can be emulated in a virtual Win98.

If you want compatibility with newer systems there's WinLine http://www.winline.com/
I have an old version of the software I can give with it, but unsure of its compatibility with the newest OS's. I used it with WinXP, haven't tried with anything newer or any 64bits.

It uses a Parallel printer port, (usb to parallel adapters can be found online or in stores)
and it uses 36" wide x 328' long rolls (2" cardboard tube core diameter) which are $65 + Shipping from http://www.milanoinc.com/catalog.php?item=191 (drop-down list to select 36")  (for 18lb paper, they also have 22lb paper).

You can probably find other places that supply thermal paper too if you prefer, try calling plotter supply places, or any place that actually manufactures thermal paper if you want a direct lowestcost.
