This is a drop-in firmware update that works for Cannon Cameras.  It does a whole bunch of cool stuff like allow shooting in RAW format.

It doesn't replace your existing firmware, it just loads beside it, so to undo it, you just delete it from the memory card.

You have to load it each time you power on your camera, but if your have a 4GB or smaller card, then you can make it autoboot when you power-on.

Doesn't seem to support my ancient S40, alas. :) Though Katherine's really the only one that uses it nowadays since I mostly shoot with my E-1.
