One or two roommates may be required

Okay... so here's the story...

Felix and I live in a basement suite. The tendants upstairs are fighting, (boyfriend and girlfriend) and the boyfriend is moving out. Robyn, and Joe. Robyn has kids, and so doesn't want to move away to get somewhere they can afford. They asked Felix and I if they wanted to switch. We go up, they come down. However; Felix and I cannot afford it. They're paying $1515 and we are paying $850. Neither of us can afford more than what we are currently paying. If Felix and I were to move upstairs, and the price was lowered, we would need a third roommate. If the price is not lowered, it would be a fourth.

Now, Robyn and Joe have been going back and forth for a long time now, and its driving this kitty insane.

I am putting this out, in case there is interest. We still have to talk to our landlord about switching, prices, and roommates.

Felix and I live in Langley. 200th and 50th. A five minute drive from Willowbrook mall. There's a bus stop literally on the sidewalk beside the driveway and one across the street. I haven't seen the upstairs suite, but it's a three bedroom, 1 1/2 bath. Large kitchen too apparently.

It would be nice to find some furs that would like to move in with us. Felix and I work a lot. I'm barely home because of my two jobs. He and I wanted to have a house moving party when we first moved in in July but that didn't happen.

Anyway.. Everything is still in discussion. But please, if you might be interested, let me know. Let either of us know.

Robyn does have kids, they are nice. She has two dogs, and three cats. I myself have two cats and two birds, Felix has a cat too. Don't know about other animals coming in, that would be another subject for discussion if you are interested and have any pets.

Any who, anyone who is interested! Please post! ^_^ *Kitty is tired of playing telephone, just wants to hang up and relax* ><'

Langley is wayyy too far for me considering I work down in Kits. :(  I'm still putting feelers out myself since my roomie is going into the army on Sept 7th I believe; after that I'll have a 3BR place (right by Metrotown) to myself that I don't really want anymore, though I'm not moving out until springtime at the earliest now - moving during the winter sucks. @.x

$1515 for a 3 BR way out there is crazy expensive, too.. I'm paying $1000 + 1/2 the utils for my 3BR / 1 Bath basement suite, so like.. $1100-1200 tops. o_o;;  Okay, you have another half-bath, but wow.  I thought prices went down the further out from the city you got? ;P  Have you guys thought about other areas and stuff, too, landlord-helping aside?

Star Wonder

We aren't the ones moving. Upstairs is. They want to do a switch because she cannot afford it. And for the space upstairs, it's supposedly a good deal. Utilities are included. Meh.. dunno..anyway...

Let me also add, all brand new appliances, front load washer and dryer, dishwasher... Utilities included in rent are electricity, gas, and bell expressvu sattelite, and I have Telus internet.

Star Wonder

Thank you Felix. I'm horrible with remembering that stuff

This is also a great opportunity for people who are looking for work near home type situations.  Port Kells is only a 20 minute bikeride away, or 5 minute drive, and nearly every business in that area needs more employees.  Just something to think about.

If nanaimo's a possiblity, I got something opening up, 900$ for two people, and you get your own floor. :O

We're not looking to move out of our house, we're simply looking to see if we can fill the spaces and move upstairs.  We don't even know if it's going to happen yet, or when.  They keep changing their minds, as Star stated earlier.  We both have steady jobs close to home.

If we can't fill the spaces, then we're staying where we are, and Robin and her kids will need a new place to live.  I don't think they'll want to move to nanaimo either.

Also, as some inside info, if I'm going to move out of this place, I'm going east, not west.  But I don't forsee that happening for at least a few years.

uhhh *checks where Langly is*

Id be more than willing to help out, looking at the one in Maple Ridge here too (the other thread), i can do a Oct 1st move [so far to my knowledge, Oct 15th the latest]
So roughly $500/month for 3 people, $380 for 4. Thats definitely not bad.

Whats the places policy on Pets? Specifically an Akita breed dog w/ Pet Damage Deposit?
All i want in life... is life.

PPFFT; hahaha Okay THAT was cheesy.
