Victoria Wolf Looking to meet some new friends!

Hey,
So I updated the profile, did a re-intro in the introduction section.  But it is here in the Island section that i want to be noticed :P

I've been here in Victoria for about 14 months, and well I really want to meet some fellow Furries.  I tried to get somewhat connected to the Fandom in Vancouver but I never really made any lasting connections.  Normally I'm a friendly, even gregarious person.  But the whole furry world is soooooo, new to me!  So I feel pretty shy and even a little akward.  But I wanna squash those fears and get in with the community here on the island.

I Like the outdoors, and I equally like chilling watching a movie, or going nerdy and playing video games.... and, sometimes, I'll even be super nerdy and play/GM roleplaying games.

However, not to get to ahead of myself.  It would be great just to meet some fellow furs for coffee or a drink.  I live on the Gorge so i'm pretty central.  Like I said im a very friendly person, but shy with the whole furry fandom.  So yeah, if your reading this, do me a favour and send me a PM and lets grab a caffeined or alchoholed beverage and have a chat! 

Also I'm on EI atm so i have alot of free time during the week, so i can meet up pretty much whenever. 

I may be a wolf, but I don't bite :P

Hey there! Im Drake Wingfire, fellow islander and somewhat token local dragon hahaha, though I happen to be 40 minutes north of Victoria, in Duncan actually.

While I myself may not be in Victoria you live in the better area for actually meeting furs as most of our population is huddled down there. There are monthly meets in vic if you are down with being around easily 15-25 people at the same time, otherwise there are sometimes other lill events at random. If you drive there are other island events that happen from time to time as well.

Hit up the Vancouver Island section of the events board to get an idea on the goings on. ^.=.^

Well 15-25 people for my first meeting of local furs might be a tad intimidating :P wouldn't mind getting to know a least a few others before I go to a big event. That said I do like large gatherings of people, as long as I know at least 2 or 3 people there...

But thank you for the info, ill keep my eyes open, my ears alert, my nose sniff.... well you get the point.

Hey, Ildar! I live around Tillicum mall, so a coffee meetup would definitely be a possibilty. :3 You could probably persuade a couple people to come if you want to set a date and post it on the VI events board.

I live in Shawnigan Lake but I make my way down to Victoria occasionally.
