Lost My Phone - Care to suggest a new plan/phone?

Alright furries, just giving the heads that I have lost my phone with no luck in finding it, which means, I get to buy a new phone and plan...any suggestions. Anywho, if anyone would like to get a hold of me, just either send me a PM or phone HexV/Dustin.

Now to the details. My old phone was a samsung...really really old phone. My plan was with rogers which I was enjoying I guess. I normally went over ever month so chances are, I need a different plan that suits me better. I don't text much unless its a quick reply. I make a lot of outgoing calls no matter what time it is and I always make sure to keep calls short in the states. Features that I would prefer to have at the least are custom ring tones and the ability to use pictures with phone numbers...I have a better time remembering people by face rather than name so it would help -.-

1) Evenings starting at 6PM, Weekends too.
2) My5, if it's just a few people.
3) Caller ID + phone with address book that can accept pictures.

Sounds like you might do well switching to fido if your calls in canada are short... Per second billing, and the plans are cheap for what you get. And then you can just grab a pay as you go sim card for the states. Save in the long run maybe.

Thanks. Update though...My phone was found. Turns out my mom was able to track down who picked my phone up when I lost it near broadway station. Anywho, I have my phone now but my plan will still be ending at the end of this month so any suggestions to other plans would still be great.

Disagree with use of any CDMA carrier. Phones are permanently locked to carrier. GSM phones are unlockable, and can be used almost anywhere in the world without problems. Besides, all the cool phones are built for GSM networks at first anyway. ;p

Well, it's a locked -rogers- phone. You can't bring that to another network for your use, unfortunately. He might as well grab a new one if he plans on switching networks.

If he goes to koodoo, he's gotta grab a new phone. He goes to telus, he's gotta grab a new phone. He goes to bell, he's gotta grab a new phone. Notice a pattern here?

The only network that he'll not have to grab a new phone with is Rogers, cause he already has a phone that's good for use on their network.

I stuck my fido sim card into my sister's crackberry today from rogers, and it worked.  I can test Kaji's phone the same way, and we can see if it'll take, then there's another option.
