Hi, I just recently moved to the vancouver area. Specifically Burnaby. Sadly I know all of  6 people down here and three of them are family, but I would love to meet more! So if anyone lives near by or not and would like to get to know each other more I would definitely be up for it!

welcome to the forums.  keep an eye on the calendar and watch for events that interest you.  two popular events are the tuesday sushi and the monthly furbowl.

the sushi is just feet away from the 4th st exit of the columbia skytrain station.  starts at 6.45 and wraps up around 8.30.  food starts at $5 up.  average bill is $10 - 15.

furbowl is held at Rev's bowling located beside the holdom skytrain station.  you do not have to bowl or even like bowling.  many go just to socialize, play some pool or eat and have a beer with friends.  see calendar for details.  starts around 7.30
