The closer we get to the date registered attendees will want to attend yet you may not have the means to get to and from the camping up Coquihalla Valley.

Here you can post whether you have a car or truck and are able to take on passenger. Make sure you indicate how much space you have for sleeping bags and other equipment passengers plan to bring and indicate what time you and where in Lower Mainland you plan to leave from.

As you are looking for a ride you can also make a post here as well. When being offered a ride please consider to offer the driver a reasonable token to cover gas, which we all appreciate!

There is also the option to take the Greyhound to Hope, which departs from several locations in the Vancouver area. Having used Greyhound last fall to get to hope it takes about 3 hours for a charge of about 30.00 one way. If you know your arrival time in Hope we can pick you up at the bus stop.

I may be looking for a ride to and from Campfur, though I will have this planned out in the weeks to come.

See you at Campfur!

I will need a ride, if anyone is attending camp fur from on Vancouver island, I will of course be contributing to gas and paying my own fare on the boat to Vancouver, if nobody from the island is planning to attend I can see what I can do about getting over to Vancouver on the ferry from Victoria and hop onboard with someone from there

luckily public transit does go to the ferry terminal.  it will take awhile to get here from there but it is possible.
1 ton truck available for hire.  contact me by personal message for info

you can spend $20 for vic transit, ferry, and the bus from delta, or spend $50 for a coach from vic to vanc incl ferry.  wouldn't take much longer by transit.

Glad you found a ride Sniffum.

In the process to visit Vancouver, you probably know how to get from Victoria to Vancouver and continue possibly to Hope Xanitos.

xanitos

Possibly the only reason I wouldn't be to excited to do that is the bus cost there and back, it would be a pain in my ass

Sevrin

Hey I'd like a ride if anyone is offering one!

Rain Lycan

So we're heading down from 100 Mile, so I think we might be able to offer a ride to one or two peeps from Kamloops area if anyone is going, I'll have to work on my plans and make sure, but I figured I should post something now so there's time to make proper arrangements =)
It's not the destination, but the journey that moves you. It's not the company, but the friends who inspire you. It's not what you've experienced, but what you've taken from those experiences that strengthens you. And it's not the one's who talk to you the most, but the one's who tell you the most, without speaking at all, that fill you with love.

I'm late to this thread, didn't know about it until today..  ???

I don't suppose it would be possible to catch a ride from Maple Ridge, Langley Colossus, Coquitlam, New Westminster, or the Abbotsford, Chilliwack or Hope Greyhound stations? I am limited to large rolling rectangles. I live in Maple Ridge, but I can get to any of the above locations if it means getting a ride to Campfur. I'm not sure how far I could lug my gear on public transit to rendezvous that wouldn't be abominably awkward, but I could muster something.

addendum I: I can pay my portion of gas for the duration of the trip, or I could gather the feed for your horse/llama/mule/donkey/burro.

addendum II: I live 3 blocks from Lougheed Highway, very near the hospital, in Maple Ridge, for anyone who might be driving East along Lougheed Highway. There is ample parking at the Rona hardware store, so I can meet you there with all my debris and artifacts. And there is a gas station right there, how handy is that?

it might be an idea to mention what all it is that you would be bringing.  no sense a volkswagon showing up when what you need is a truck.
