Free Kittens to good homes

Trying to help my mum find homes for seven adorable kittens. They are social, affectionate, and been raised with (and manhandled by) little kids (2 and 7 years old), so they are quite good with them all told.

I know the calico/tri colors are all females and I believe one of the tabby colored ones is as well. I can find out sex of an individual kitten if someone is interested, or if you aren't interested, but you know someone who is, please pass this along. I'm trying to help find them homes reasonably quickly as my mother is having severe breathing problems and obviously a house full of kittens isn't helping.

They are 5-6 weeks, eating solid food, box trained. The kittens are located in Mission, BC, up near Rolley Lake.

Inquiries can be sent here, or preferably to shadowsmyst@gmail.com. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Oh man they are adorable. Do you want more spreading of the word? I have one half-grown kitten who's enough of a handful, but I can pass it along to my facebook friends...

That would be wonderful if you could spread the word!

Take them in a box go sit in front of Wal-Mart or superstore, might take you a hour or two on a weekend and put a sign up that says free kittens. But be selective and ask questions about how someone is going to treat them. Make sure they are not going to take them home for dinner... I don't mean that comment to offend anyone there are just a lot more people from different countries here that find cat a food item.

If you don't want to offend people, don't use rediculous and offensive racial stereotypes.

One would have better luck filtering applicants through ads on craigslist and/or kajiji posts. Sitting outside of a walmart would take hours upon hours with pets to care for and unlikely to yield much result.

take them to the local SPCA.  people go in there all the time asking for kittens.  they will qualify the new pet guardians (i don't like owner).  and until they are all found new homes, they will get the shots and care they need.

I am going from experience with getting rid of kittens the only reason I said be selective is one person joking or not said, "I take home I eat cat." But I was able to give away 5 kittens within 1 hour to couples who seemed to want to have a cat.

I would be more concerned about some ass taking kittens and using em as target practice. This type of thing is happening... people who are sick go on craigs list and "adopt" cats, dogs, bunnies.. and shot em...

I hope the mom of these kittens has a appointment to get FIXED so.. you don't have another batch of kittens needing homes in the future.

I would take one but my building management is currently investigating suites and throwing tenants  out for having more then one fixed cat in their possession.

I've been searching for a female kitten, preferably a calico, for over a month now.

Only problem is, I'm on Vancouver island, and I'm unable to make it that way to take one. If I know someone who was coming this way, I could make arrangements to take one of the girlies.

I can promise that I am a responsible pet parent, and any animal that comes into my care will be vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and spoiled rotten! I do have one other cat, a little boyo, that I got from a lady in Nanaimo who rescued him when his family left him to starve to death. He's about 5 1/2 months, rambunctious, and needs a little sister.
I live in a world of fantasy.

I posted this notice here originally because I was trying to avoid craigslist/kajiji and try more intimate sources like here of people I know are generally going to love animals, not potentially eat them/shoot them/abuse them. The same problem occurs with just handing them out in boxes. Basically I was trying to network to find the kittens better homes than just throwing it out there.

@velvetkytten - Yes, the mama is going to be spayed.

@bloodredruby - I'm sending you a PM
