Not necessarily. but sometimes that is the reason why.

I go to bowling quite a bit. As well, some of the previous furmeets earlier in the year were held at a persons residence that i did not want to be around, the others ended up falling on times that i had immediate due dates for project/school work or deadlines for work. Since then there has been mostly meets that i'd have far to travel too and that is difficult for me to do. I do like my solitude though :3 (well, being in my own home with my roommates.) So it really all depends on the event location and if i can afford it :3

yeah. ridiculously slow. They are using server equipment that is not as good as the stuff they were using until they can get some stuff fixed and replaced. again. -rollseyes- only FA lol. No other site i'm on has this much trouble lol.

lol. It's kind of a shame really that it's the go-to site for most of us. There's sites out there with better UIs and, more importantly, back ends. Oh well. :V

FA has had sooo many issues in the past that this downtime doesn't even phase me anymore.
I wish it wasn't THE site every single furry was on or else I'd be long gone by now.

the only reason why i am still there is because the majority of my clients and livlihood are available there :/ But i am on just about every other furry site i've found. even if some are just placeholders with links to the sites i upkeep. but i average around 8 websites that i try to upkeep.
