And before anyone says that "Obama isn't a war criminal" his bombing lists are against the Geneva Convention because they authorize bombings of innocents on the off chance that someone they do want will attend their funeral, so they can then kill everyone who attends the funeral.

Well I'm not an expert on politics, but my impression of obama is a guy thats seriously trying to help, someone thats doing everything in his power to get shit done and make things better, but that a very large portion of the rest of the american government is stacked against him, likewise I got the impression from bush that he was nothing more than a puppet, except bush didn't actually try to do anything good, he just failed and got manipulated repeatedly (like really wtf is someone like that doing as president) of course this is all just speculation so maybe I'm wrong.

Damn I'm pretty much just left and nothing else. Kinda sucks for your poll, but I guess that 0.36 makes me a bit more libertarian.
I've always been told to never look a life behind a window to go outside and join the world, but what about the world behind that window makes the outside so much better?

Funny that the other boxes have people like Stalin, Bush, Hitler, Obama and a ton of other war criminals. And the box I'm in just has guy famous for bringing peace to their nations, and allowing expanded thought and speech.

Make love, Not War, Man.

This doesn't show how evil people are, just where they stand politicaly. It's not so much about whether they kill people or whatnot, but rather their view of the economy, peoples rights, ect.

I'm interested in hearing from the one person who voted 'Right - Authoritarian' in the poll. I'm curious about their thoughts in our local politics.  :)

There's nothing wrong with being right wing, I don't often agree with that line of thinking, but there's nothing wrong with it.

Trigger

Well that was me, and Well I'm not one that likes change, a quote I live by is "Change is only good when it makes things better." and lately there's been a lot of change, just not a lot good.
I'd rather die on paws than live on feet.

Sevrin

so what kind of change do you think would make things better then?

The results here are rather interesting....  So many left/ libertarian's. Honestly I am becoming more and more convinced that political views come and go like the tides. Or maybe the general life cycle of humanity can be summed up in a notion that we start off wanting the world to be more open and free.. and as we age humanity jades us and we get too wrapped up in our own wants, so much to the point we will go along with any party who gives the finger to people of our own country that we don't like because we are tired of seeing people "messing around" and want everyone to be like us?

Just a very random thought from a very random dragon.. lol

Okay, well people complain about the fact that our economy isn't great, and it isn't, also that unemployment is still rather high, Well take the winter 2 years ago, there was a huge shortage of winter tyres people couldn't get them because they were being shipped from China, now as we all know China makes damn near everything, because labor there is cheap, now let's say for the sake of argument that we had a tyre factory here, in B.C, We now have domestic tyres, there would have been some more jobs (considering we're still recovering from a recession which happen to be conveniently right when that shortage was.) adding money to the economy through income tax. now the companies say they would lose money this way, yes, but the reduced cost in shipping would almost even out the loss. simple changes like this would do nothing but good.

I used to think about that quite often actually when I was younger. I wondered why they wouldn't simply make more projects here to create more jobs? Is there something about it I don't really understand that makes it more complicated then that?

Trigger

Well first you need land, then after that contractors to build said building (more jobs) then you need Tools, and machines to make said product. It is a simple concept, but companies only really think about profit, not something that's for the good of a country.

Looks like I'm left Libertarian. This was really good idea Nibi. I actually found that quiz very interesting, and it made me discover quite a few things about myself. There were maybe two questions I didn't understand though, and a few others I felt were more situational then anything else. Ok I have to bring this up, when I saw this question.

"A woman can have a career, but her first primary focus should be a homemaker." (I'm para-phrasing here)

I laughed. Heck I couldn't believe that was even a question. Makes me a little sad to know there are some people out there that hit the 'Agree' button on that. I don't think it's too surprising that many of us are left libertarian, it makes sense in the culture of the fandom. Not to say everyone has that view of course. This was really fun! ^.^
