defiantly have to agree what mostly already been mentioned, everyone is bringing up good points. i myself dont exactly draw my anathro as a tall skinny beanpole like me and yes i wish i could be a little more built so i tend to draw myself a more of an athletic build but everyone has flaws in their own eyes to which i think makes everyone unique, because if everyone was the same, wheres the fun in that? im an artist myself and ive been drawing my boyfriend the same way as my fur, more recently ive added a little pudge as my bf is a bit on the heavier side. and hes grown to love it. i myself think it looks adorable.

i guess what im trying to say is everyone wants to be this "ideal" figure at some point in life, but until you give up on what others think its hard to be comfortable with who you are and love who you are, because in the end that what matters. If you love who you are, someone will share that love and you will find them.

Im gonna second that, you got nothing to worry about ^^ we all have our different types we like, myself i like someone with a little bit of... squishyness to them XP better for snuggles and hugs, because hugging a lumpy bolder isnt fun.

Hehe, you're both right.
Thank you, I shouldn't be so foolish.
You've made me feel a whole lot better about this whole thing. ^^

sometimes artists draw thin big boobed women and men with abs that could do laundry, and sometimes they don't.  but look back a few years, namely to the Ruben period and the Rubenesque women drawn then.  the women there are all plump and or well rounded.  so tastes go in cycles.  unfortunately we can't alter ourselves to meet others approval or maybe that should be ... thankfully we can't.  you will find someone that likes you for you so do not try to please anyone but yourself (and your mother)

for the most part I'm not into guys, but if I was to be interested in a guy he'd look rather like you TBH, (i'm assuming the pics on your profile are of you) you're adorable.

I'm not really a big fan of drawing so-called "idealized" muscular men kind of furry. Hey, I like muscular men from time to time, though of course, I'm not talking about the hypers - more like A&F sort of men. However, I must admit to myself, I do feel ever so slightly physically insecure when I check out furry men that are drawn with the stature of a Korean Boy Band pop star. xP

Aww, don't try to worry too much about the "perfect" anatomy. Honestly every single human being has an amazing quality about their bodies. Maybe it's their eye colour, super soft hair, elegant hands or nice thighs. Rather then pick yourself apart at all the things you don't have, you should start admiring all the little things you do have. Maybe you think your personality is the only thing but that's okay too, having a awesome brain counts.

And when you find that precious somebody they'll truly love everything about you, despite not having wash board abs. Haha.

As for me I like manly men with hair. XDDD Something a lot of girls don't like. :P So everybody is definitely different.

Not everyone creates there fursona for the same reason that you may have. Some people see it as a personal, reflecting image of themselves and want people to have there first impression to be more genuine. There's some that see it as a character to roleplay and want something that people will generally find attractive.

I just don't really look at furry art ever. However whenever I draw bodies, I draw ones that I take the time to look at. If I am drawing my bat-sona, I draw her with my body type. And I'm not thin at all.
