Unfortunately, I did try banning the world anchor, and then ran another plugin that turned all the existing ones to cobble, and verified on server startup it said 0 loaded.  It was something else, as the server would chew up to 21GB of RAM in less than a day.  I'd have to restart the server every 4 hours. :(  The worldfile itself must be seriously corruptes, and I don't have time to play much right now, let alone spend hours in MCEdit trying to find the culprit block - basically a needle in a haystack.

My main problem though, is there's *something* about the Tekkit server that completely disrespects memory limits set in Java.  My server only has 32GB of RAM total -regular SMP gets 4GB assigned, uses less than that, and is happy.  Tekkit was assigned 8 and used 21 in a day, no matter what I tried.  As soon as I restarted it, it would rapidly leak memory and Java would spe nd most of its time trying in vain to garbage collect and keep the memory down.  The problem with it using that much RAM is that the server runs out and starts killing processes, including the VM that runs my e-mail server, which is obviously totally not cool, especially at 3AM, triggering alerts and making me get up to fix it. :(

If someone wants the worldfiles to try and fix or run themselves, I have no problem packing them up somewhere (they're huge, probably a few GB), but I can't risk hosting it when it disrespects heap maxes. :/

Also, FYI - if you want to keep playing on the server (SMP), don't update to the new version just yet - I'm waiting on the corresponding server update (and likely all the plugins, too):

I'll post here when I plan to do the update. Thanks!

Who has a cobblestone tower house located at -778, 1144 with no claim? I plan at some point to build a railroad to spawn (And have begun doing so); Do you want to be linked into that system? You'd be the first potential destination as the closest house to my own claim.

Grab the 1.3.2 official Minecraft JAR from here:

http://assets.minecraft.net/1_3_2/minecraft.jar

Some really basic Windows-specific instructions here: http://www.minecraftmine.org/how-to-downgrade-minecraft/  I know how to fix Mac and Linux installs, too - let me know if you have trouble.

As soon as CraftBukkit is updated I'll see if I can get the server running it.

I've compressed a backup and thrown it on Dropbox for you:

This is the Tekkit world that eats RAM like popcorn.  Be careful if you try and host it; I bet it needs some love in MCEdit fixing whatever is causing it to go haywire. :(

Does the file include all the server plugins?? Also would you happen to have a list of all the plugins? Thanks. XD

Tekkit server is the bulk of the plugins:

http://www.technicpack.net/tekkit/

I'd get that working first, then I use WorldBorder, Dynmap and a grief prevention pkugin.  The last one is tricky; have to find one that works with Tekkit, may have a lot of weird setup instructions, and may be dependant on a specific version as well.

I can take a look at packing some of the rest up, but I'd start with seeing if you can get the base Tekkit server to run that world file for a week wihthout crashing or eating all your RAM first. :p

had it up a few days with no restart and running perfectly so far no problems at all

Bukkit itself has updated, but I am unsure if your specific plugins have or haven't yet, Kithop. :3

That's good news on the Tekkit server - you know what version of JVM you're running it on, and what host OS?  I wonder if it's to do with me running it under the latest Java 7, or something else to do with my config that I deliberately didn't give you. ;)

Also, WRT to the Bukkit update - it's an early beta they're posting, so yeah - I'd rather wait until it's stable and moves over to the 'recommended builds' on the right hand column before I go ahead and update the server itself.  Plus, like you said, I'm sure the plugin devs need some time to hammer out their own bugs.

Wise plan. In the meantime, I'll keep steadily expanding Manse Mustela on 1.3.2. Hooray for .JAR switching apps.
