Hey boys and girls,

Any music producers out there? I'm pretty slick with Ableton Live, Logic, ProTools, and getting to know Reason.
I'd be game to share some skills or do a collaboration if anyone else is interested. I haven't posted much online lately
Cause nothing is finished, just workin' on a lot of ideas.

I'm on soundcloud!

BTW I'm on Mac so while some of these programs work on Windows I'll mess up the hotkeys, haha.
My bark is worse than my bite.

I've always wanted, but never could pick it up.  Also I have a terrible tendency to get side tracked/distracted with things I love as a hobby.  Drawing, Writing, Dancing.  Music was a plan to be on the list but I haven't.

I'm not sure I could call myself a 'producer' at this point, despite slowly amassing the gear for it:

Software:
Pro Tools 10
Native Instruments Abbey Road Modern Drummer
Amplitube 3, Metal, Jimi Hendrix, & SVX

Hardware:
Mackie Onyx 1620 w/ FireWire Option
1 x Shure BETA58A vocal dynamic
2 x Shure BETA57A instrument dynamic
1 x Audio-Technica AT2020 condenser
ART DPS-II (2ch tube preamp w/ digital out)
Behringer HA4700 Headphone Mixing Amp

Guitar:
Ibanez RG7420-MC
Agile HRB-200-12
Mesa/Boogie Triple Rectifier Head
Marshall 1960B Cabinet

Bass:
Ibanez SR-505
Kustom GrooveBass 1200HD Head
Avatar B410 NEO Cabinet

Pedalboard:
VoodooPower 2
Ibanez SM7 Smashbox Distortion
Ibanez 'Weeping Demon' Wah
Boss OC-2 Octave
Boss Bass EQ

Understandably this is all for a compleeeeeetely different genre of music, live recording, etc. ;P Working on material right now, and though I have some crappy acoustic stuff on my FA page, it's not anywhere near an accurate indication of the way things are going to go. Think nigh-Metalcore Prog Metal / Thrash hybrid all smooshed together.

I'm favoring FL Studio right now, since I find I can get things done quickly with it. I've been so busy with work the last couple of months that I haven't been very active in composing/producing. ;-; I'm looking forward to the end of summer when I go back to school and ironically have more time for music.

My stuff's mostly all on Newgrounds if anyone's curious. 8U I love DnB, and mixing it with JRPG-ish music. Also doing the occasional chiptune or piano thing.

I'm dreadful at mastering, if anyone's got any readings to share I'd love to improve on that some more. I've got iZotope Ozone 4, which afaik is a pretty good plugin, I just haven't been able to make it work for me yet. xD

Hehe, well, I am a music producer insofar as I make music sometimes.
Sometimes it's even not bad! :o

My tool of choice is Abelton Live, but FL Studio is fun when I can find a Windows computer to use it with, and I occasionally use AudioMulch or MetaSynth to make neat noises. My music is in various places across the internet, but I'm currently working on remastering all of it and getting rid of the worst tracks. So I don't feel like linking to my albums right yet.... (though, if you insist on clicking the link in my signature, I just want to say that the three albums on the main page are the only ones I feel are worth listening to at the moment). I've got a few unreleased tracks over on one of my tumblrs though. But they're just works in progress, small experiments, and/or minimal techno attempts.

I would be interested in hearin' what sort of skills you've got to share though, Orion. ^.=.^
reality is subject to relativity.

I haven't made any music since I was 17 (I'm 22 now)... and I used a few programs. Mostly FL though. I want to get back into music production.

Silvermink

I've been thinking about getting into it. Might pick up a Novation Launchpad or something one of these days - they can be had for a bit over $100 and come with a limited version of Ableton.

I've got a DJ controller (Traktor S2) so I've been working on that in the meantime, though probably not as much as I should.

Yup! I'm a producer/singer/songwriter so I'm always up for a collab or whatever! I tend to make more dance/pop stuff cause I love it, but my real passion is to make stuff like our BC Native David Foster. Very emotional, 90s R&B is where my heart really is. To make something as beautiful as I Will Always Love You and as unforgettable as Un-Break My Heart would be amazing.

So if any of you are still active and interested hit me up!

I have Ableton but I sadly have not really put time into learning it. I use Music Studio for everything except vocals which I add in Audacity.
What's up everybody!?

I'm Cassidy! A female Malayan Civet from Port Moody!!! I love music and having fun!! Go listen to my original music on Spotify or wherever :3

And follow me on Twitter @CassidyTheCivet ! Fursuit pics always coming :3
