Fursuit Tail Help?

Im going to be trying to dance at AC while in suit, but there's two things bothering me.

One, my pants all have one belt loop at the back meaning that the tail is off set to one side as opposed to remaining centered

Two, I've had experience with just the tail in dancing that tears belt loops off and somewhat wrecks pants with spins, and turns, ect.

Would anyone have any advice on how to help resolve this issue?  Would something like Duck tape just before heading out with it on the back covered by a shirt might fix it?  Looking for reinforcing, and keeping it there.

I would add a second belt loop if possible and sew the crap out of both to ensure that they won't tear.

I don't attach tails to the pant loops... it might help you to just put the belt right above your waistband and underneath your shirt hem instead. Keeps it a little higher but that way you can make sure it's centered with two loops. :3

he thought it was H2O and now he burns in hell

Thanks for the advice Kitten, and Tosca.  I'll try these out a bit and see what works out best.
