My netbook's power input needs to be replaced. I need a local place to goto to pick up the part or place to get the part mailed.

I think this is the part number:
65wA7
090424-

My suggestion would be to look into a universal AC adapter. NCIX carries a 65w adapter from Coolermaster for about forty bucks, and with a bit of digging, you can probably find better than that. Your mileage may vary on getting a genuine adapter, and you likely will not be able to get one locally, only by ordering online or by contacting Asus directly.

I am certain there are a surplus of power adapters for the EEEPC line of netbooks, I would look at local retailers or online. You may gamble on a cheap replacement (i.e. http://www.amazon.com/HQRP-Adapter-Netbook-Subnotebook-Replacement/dp/B0025BQXW6) which should do the job at under ten dollars (or Ebay). Be sure to purchase from reputable and reviewed businesses on those websites, at least one with a review teardown to make sure it is not unsafe.

Possibly not in this case: some laptops require adapters with a chip that provides authentication and safety, universal adapters may not work.
The farther one travels, the less one knows.

It was actually the DCIN port connected to the motherboard. A friend swabbed it with alcohol now it works ALOT better. still alittle touchy in some awkward positions but works now. Thanks for the suggestions.

Or there's that, yeah. If there's crud built up on it, the connection may be flaky.
