Hey guys. I recently became the owner of a pair of male rats. Unfortunately, I can't keep them, so I need to find them a new home pronto.

They're brothers, named Potato and Goma, and they're quite energetic and curious. They both love treats and have been taking to hand training fairly well; I imagine you'd be able to teach them a few tricks fairly easily once they get used to you.

I'll be including their cage, food and water dishes, various chewable toys, two houses (an igloo and one that can attach to the top of the cage), half a bag of Carefresh bedding, two types of food, some bedding fluff, and a small bag of treats (unless they eat them all).

I'm asking $40 $20 for everything, but I'm willing to give a discount to experienced rat owners.
You can have them for free with food/bedding if you have your own cage and accessories.

If you haven't owned rats, but are interested, I can direct you to a few good websites with information about what to expect.

The two catches:
I'm in Kelowna. I'm willing to drive a bit if it means getting them to a good home, though.
One of them has been sneezing; this may be a sign of a respiratory illness common in rats. I'm taking him to the vet on Wednesday and will update when I know what, if anything, is wrong. Got Potato checked up. He either has a cold or a very slight upper respiratory infection; either way, it isn't having much of an impact on his overall health and it should run its course in due time.
