It may be because I keep my gloves and sleeves in the head when not using it, but have you guys ever accidentally gotten Faux Fur in your mouth while wearing the suit, and or swalloed?  Is there any medical issues I should be aware of regarding the ingestion of it?  Is it only bad if you inhale it?

The best thing you can do to help prevent that is to 1. Brush your paws. and 2. Vacuum the inside of your head.

Brush your paws to get any loose fur fibers out.(when you cut or sew paws there are lots of loose fiber that can be missed when brushed) then vacuum out the inside of the head to get any fibers that might be there from when the head was furred or from storing paws.

I store my paws in my head. I have eaten fur fibers(not by choice) no it is not bad for your health. Inhaling the fur is as bad for you as inhaling hair when you get your hair cut. It sucks but I don't think that it will cause that much damage.

It just seems that if you're out of suit, you can go to the wash room to wash your mouth off easily enough.  A fursuit would have to de-suit, or just carry on.  Was just curious if it was like.. Asbestos bad, or just regular hair bad.

That is an interesting aspect of fursuit I have not considered yet. With your mask on you there are many things that you are limited to such as brushing nuisances such as hair or fur pieces off your face or scratch your itchy nose.

I just got my suit, haven't had a chance to get out in it much, but damn did I get a lot of fur in my mouth the first few times trying it on.

What I found works well is compressed air cans. Like the ones you use on your computer.

Maybe an acrylic polymer, which is classified as non-toxic. Its constituent ingredients are possibly carcinogenic, however you will not be working with Acrylic acid or acrylonitrile directly, so I think not too bad.

Although it is a "plastic", which is not entirely natural to the body and may cause gastrointestinal distress, etc. according to somewhat relevant things online.

EATING ALL THE FAUX FUR FOREVER!

(that's a yes. Faux fur everywhere while sewing, including in eyes, up nose, and down throat)

And Neox, you wouldn't have been picking out so much pink if you hadn't been licking Pixi. :P
