I use to play WoW... right when it was released from upto 2006. I picked it up again last year again but I couldn't get back into it. I really, really, REALLY disliked the first expansion so that was partly why I quit.

I had a level 60 Night Elf Druid and a 60 Night Elf Priest and I was in a pretty decent guild on Proudmoore. I also had a level 60 Troll Priest on one of the European servers (I forgot the name of it, but I use to play on those servers with my friend who lives in England)

My favorite part of the game is that around the time Ragnaros wasn't farmed by many people, my guild was already disenchanting most of the drops from him. A Perdition's Blade dropped, none of the Rogues wanted it, so the Master Looter gave it to me (I was on my Night Elf Priest.) So, I just hung around Ironforge on my Priest, holding the dagger, pissing off tons of people who had characters that could actually use it. XD

I'm Horde through and through, but I think we got shafted with the Goblins. c.c;  Anyone interested in making an all-Worgen furry guild? XD  Can set up on a new server (pref. RP, I guess, or Normal... not doing PvP <.<;) and everything, since I don't really have any Alliance characters anywhere.

I'm definitely considering rerolling Alliance for the expansion pack.

I've always played Horde for as long as the game has been out cuz Tauren are sexeh.. but horde getting Goblins made me a sad Panda(ren). :(

I'd be down for an all-Worgen furry guild! I've never played Alliance even casually, so I know nothing about their quests or strange alliancey things like Deep Run Trams, Deadmines and Stockades. Would definitely be alot of new content, expansion aside.

Sounds like those dungeons are going to be redone for the expansion pack, too.

Unfortunately, I love playing on PVP-RP servers myself for the adrenaline rush...  I <3 the PvPs muchly!  ;D

Damn. I STILL have to get the Northrend expansion pack. Now I'll have to get the Cataclysm pack as well. The Worgen look awesome though. I wouldn't hesitate to create a Worgen character.  8)

WotLK > BC by far, IMO... I only have one 80, but the phasing stuff and quests are fricking AWESOME.  The Death Knight starting stuff is pretty damned sweet, and the whole Wrathgate quest line (don't look that up if you don't want major spoilers) is awesome, too.

Considering the epic necro of this thread, I'm sure you'll make an excellent Warlock. ;P  (Seriously, *3 years* since the last reply.  Even Cataclysm wasn't out yet XD)

That said, I've been playing w/ some other furs and my g/f on Nordrassil, on the Alliance side (though I'm still Horde at heart on my other servers that I haven't touched in months D;).  Only in the 30s so far, though.

I'm a huge MMO fan and I have both. I prepurchased GW2 and played it the minute it was released. GW2 just isn't as good in my opinion. For every 1 thing it has right, it has 2 wrong. Plus, when I play Guild Wars 2 I already know what i'll be doing; exploring, grinding dungeons for tokens, structured pvp, over and over again. There's much more to do in wow, and this is coming from someone who played Guild Wars 1 for quite a while, and 4 years of wow. :)

Edit: There's no way in hell GW2 has better content than wow. It has different content but not better. You have structured pvp, world vs world, dungeons and grinding experience. At max level after hours of play, you become no more powerful than you were before and all you end up doing is grinding for legendary armor and weapons which are mostly cosmetic. When you go to a lower level place, you become downscaled. After 100 hours of play, i don't want to be as weak as everyone else in a level 10 zone except slightly better looking. I don't even want to mention the huge numbers that wow has, money wise, tournament stream viewers wise, etc. The only thing GW2 does way better his holiday events. Oh, but the Lost Shores event was hilarious. Release new content, let everybody play it and questlines don't work and rewards aren't given. lololol thanks
