New resident

Howdy everyone,
I'm actually from Alberta but I am moving to Kelowna in a week's time! I just accepted a new job there so I am in the moving process as we speak (yaayyy packing....)

But I thought I would introduce myself and see if there are any other furs/meets/community in Kelowna (and in BC in general). I've lived in Alberta my whole life up until now so moving to a new province is exciting!

So I am an illustrator both by profession and by hobby! I went to ACAD for 4 years and have my bachelor of Visual Communications and Design. While I love drawing anthropomorphic stuff, I love drawing loads of other stuff too. I'm almost always working on something, whether it is actually work related or something for a personal creative project. I'm known to enjoy the odd video game and I love watching movies. Repeatedly. While analyzing them!

I have a dog, a pembroke welsh corgi, named Kanye West who'll be coming to Kelowna with me when I move. When I'm not drawing or working, I'm usually walking or playing with Kanye. He's my little bro.

In terms of the online community, I'm all over the place. I can be found in deviantArt, FurAffinity and SoFurry in terms of galleries. I have my own website as well that profiles my work. I also hang out on SecondLife on occasion and I mess around coding on the old MMO Furcadia as well.

Hehehe, I am rather certain I watch/have watched you on Deviantart.  I KNOW I remember you from VCL, like... years ago.  When I saw the name "weremagnus" in the introductions, I was like, "Nuh uh..."

Nice to see new faces around here!  I hope you find this place as welcoming and entertaining as I do!  Definitely try to make it out to Vancouver, it's a wonderful city and there are a ton of events happening every month that are furry-related.

And welcome to BC!  Hope you like the mountains. =P

hey, another new local. I just live in penticton, and it's nice to see more furs moving here . there is sometimes a furmeet in Kelowna, but it's erratic ^^. I do hope to see you around, take care and i hope you have fun here :3
