Just thought I would throw this out there, its not really furry, but its by a furry, if that counts enough.

Anyway, I have been working on my photography for a little over two years now, I'm rather proud of some of it, I know a fair bit of it blows, but hey, not EVERY picture can turn out.

Anyway, some of my favorites of my work, and my DA link.

Sadly, I can't find a way to post thumbnails here of the preview image, so if your interested, you will have to click the links.

So, from new to old, my favorites.

No, i don't expect anyone to look at them all, but hey, anyone that does, rocks in my books :D

Please, tell me what you think, good, bad, craptastic? I like to know :D

Nice! What were you using as lighting for the first two?

Hey, nice work - you've got a great eye for composition, and I like the black-and-white work.

I dunno, the only one I liked is welcoming blue.
but that's because of the beautiful scenery.
the greyscale stuff I dont really enjoy
it's just...close ups of random stuff lying around that went through a bit of photoshop filters
I mean, anyone can do those.

The sun.
Nice work, It looks very nice. Honestly I thought you lit it!

Some good compositions there. I try to work a lot on leading lines and abstract stuff in my own photography, and I think you've used leading lines and negative space well in many of these - I actually like some of the "stuff just lying around" photography if it puts a new spin on familiar objects. I'm quite fond of signs - got a few of those here (older stuff): http://gdmitchell.livejournal.com/

Something I'm interested in myself, in that vein, and am trying to get into more is textural shots of various objects and surfaces - got a few shots like that from my recent trip (the lava flows in Craters of the Moon are awesome for that kind of stuff) that I'll hopefully have up somewhere sooner rather than later.

I work on my photography whenever I can, and do try to upload often, but it tends to come in bunches.

I was lucky, I had a teacher for two semesters of highschool that worked as a photographer for years, he was a total dumbass, but knew what he was talking about. Managed to learn a fair bit about composition, mostly line and layering, as well as a good set of ground skills in photoshop and a overly harsh eye to look over my shoulder. It drastically improved my photography, even if he IS a douche.

Cool - I took two levels of courses (Basic and Intermediate) at Focal Point in Kits, myself.
