Ok so I feel sorta stupid for posting this here but I figured it wouldn't hurt.

I'm trying to figure out who I can contact to make a serious complaint against my Buildings Management/owner

I have repeatably gone without heat in my suit that I share with Carthage. I personally am at my wits end over this... remember when we got hit by the snow storms ? Well Him and I went five days without heat.

Now we have gone without heat for over a week.
I have done everything I can think of so far. I've gotten the management(landlords) to come in.. because the heat woudln't turn off... so I was like.. having sever health issues with that and Told him
fix My heat please... and he tells me I need a new thermostat.... ok.. fine... so he turns OFF the heat.. thank god for that.. but hasn't come back...So now... nights are pure hell... and days are ok.... But I am sure that it is illegal to deny heat to my suit. this is sorta of an emergency being that My poor animals are suffering as well now at night.

I want to get these people in shit... I want heat.
But.... who the hell do I talk to ?

I asked them the other day when they would be getting said "new thermostats" and he said he wasn't sure .. he is waiting for ... four of them... so ... wtf ?

It's scary to think there are others in my building like me who are going through this as well.

Anyway..
If anyone knows who I can go to... call.. or email ? to get something done.... please please please let me know.

If you can't get anywhere with the management or the building owners, you'll want to take a look at the Residential Tenancy Branch - it's a provincial government thing. Here's the section applicable to emergency repairs: http://www.rto.gov.bc.ca/content/rightsResponsibilities/repairs.aspx#143
Take a look through that and see if you have a case to go to the RTB - at least it'll give you some ammunition to get things moving faster. The maintenance people should at least be telling you when the repairs are going to be done, if nothing else...

some things just cant be as simple as moving. :(
