Now I'll tell you what a dick move is: Bringing up the topic of rape in a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with it in an attempt to hamfist emotions where they don't belong.

ember, while I do agree with you, what you're doing right now is spreading more hostility, the drama in this thread died a long time ago, there's no reason to try and start more conflict.

okay ember yeah that makes sense, but isn't what i was talking about, what i was talking about is your negative hostile attitude, sometimes people need criticism or they don't realize what they are doing wrong, i agree, it doesn't change the fact that you're being a dick, there's no need to be so hostile.

um... i'm sorry i made a joke about rape... its just everyone seemed angry and i just wanted to lighten things up a bit, i didn't think it would offend anyone :(

The only difference between my position and yours is that you felt the need to apologize when you caused no harm, and I did not.

Back on topic: Aside from a very small number of people on the forum making these remarks, was it ever really that large of a problem to start with? I never noticed these remarks everywhere but apparently that's because they were all in the forum games topic.

the thing is though that i understand how someone who has been raped, or knows someone who has been raped would be offended by it however, you don't seem to care... that being said i think there was a little bit of over reaction to it... i mean this IS the internet after all.
the only issue i ever had was the hostility of the females, the "us vs them" attitude they took, instead of just asking nicely they had to make a big deal about it.
