Canucks Fans?

So, most of my friends recently haven't really been into the whole hockey thing (durn hippies!)... so I was wondering if anyone is down for watching a game or two this season.  Its a great time to be a fan!

Also, great moves at the trade deadline!

While I don't follow it as meticulously as some, I do enjoy watching The Canucks kicks some ass! not sure about actually hitting the arena (lacking of funds), but a sports bar or the house is always doable! I'm sure Neox should be coming around this thread shortly and tell of his love of the game. :p

As for the game tomorrow, it should be uhh.. good? Blue Jackets here we come!

Since Elementary School, I was a fan of the Canucks. But... the only time I was actually in Rogers Arena was during a facilities tour with the BCIT Television class.

And... I know exactly who's causing this losing streak. You see there was an incident... (and no more details beyond that)

all canuck fans are delusional the closest thing to the cup there going to see is at the glass of beer they use to drown there sorrows for blowing it again. then again my job revolves around them and my hours get better the longer there in the game so -sarcastically waves a flag- go canucks go    :P

Yay!  Glad to see some fans here. We'll set something up. Seriously Red... I'm a hockey fan first and Canucks fan second... and from an organizational and on-ice product standpoint, they are one of the  most solid teams in the league along with Detroit, Boston and possibly Pittsburgh.  Obviously playoffs are their own story... but the Stanley Cup is one of the most difficult trophies to win in any sport and they have a better opportunity than most do this year.  Besides, it helps you out :P

Playoffs are going to be so crazy. I see one of four outcomes.

We get the top seed, go up against bums, lose as is tradition.
Get a good seed, win, meet Chicago, lose as is tradition.
Make it to the finals, lose as is tradtion. Riot.
Make it to the finals, win. Riot.

I'm so going to grow some playoff beard up in this.

Born and lived most my life in Montreal, so I am a Habs fan to the core, regardless of how they do. (btw they beat you so nyah nyah but I digress..)

I am getting into the spirit of the Nucks tho, and do enjoy watching them play from time to time, just not so invested in them (won't go nuts when they are losing a playoff game. I've tested it.)

I love watching games from noisy fan-filled sports bars, wayy cheaper than tickets and still get the right vibes.
