What Would You Rather Do Than Listen to Justin Bieber?

I really don't understand why people hate this person and his music so much. I've listened to some of his songs and liked them fine...

The amount of both love and hatred I notice directed at him is wildly disproportionate compared to what most other musicians experience. Why is that?

The main reason why I can't stand him is because there is no real passion or soul behind his music. It's lifeless and boring with very little thought put into the song structure or lyrics. Not to mention that he just lip syncs during his concerts because he can't actually sing worth a damn. I can say with certainty that Justin's voice is pitch corrected heavily in the studio.

Anyways onto the topic of the thread: I'd rather be cuddled up to another furry right now while listening to Portishead's album "Dummy". Ah Beth Gibbons such emotion and power in her voice. <3

Okay, gotta admit here.... for a few months I liked his "Baby" song until a Bieber fan sung it during an American Idol audition (forward to 6:34, but the others are pretty entertaining too).

So okay, I'll rather listen at all the American Idol, Britain's got Talent, So you can Dance worst auditions (Do I need to mention Ian Benardo and Milo Turk and Ablisa...?)
