ATTENTION ALL POKEMON FANS!!! Gamestop is having the Pokemon Black and White Event now until February 6th. Come into the shop with your DS and your copy of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver and receive a one of the 3 Shiny Legendaries; Raikou, Entei and Suicune. If you get all 3, youll have one chance to catch Zoroark, the new dark Pokemon. Stop by Gamestop or EB games today before its too late! =3

So how does this work exactly. We have to keep going to GameStop every day to get a new shiney, then we get the Zoroark?

The three shinys will be available different weeks until Feb 6. You must come to game stop each time the next shiny is up for grabs. If you get all 3 by the end and purchase Black or White when it comes out, you transfer those 3 legendaries to the game and then youll get a chance to catch Zoroark.

actually from what I hear you only need one of them.
Which I hope is F*cking true since I missed the Raikou event.
I got the Entei and will get Suicune, now I can't wait for the B&W release in March~

b/w would be more entertaining if the grass starter didnt have almost 400 speed, making it just a little bit OP as the fastest pokemon in the game

oh, and that ice/dragon type one sure seems balanced to me.

I learned of the magics of "ev training" over the summer. pokemon's speed depends on a bunch of things. although it's base speed is probably pretty high, but c'mon, it's a snake-ish pokemon. what were you expecting?

So which version do you folks think will be the one to get when they come out? Black or White? And why? I haven't done much reading about it  yet, and I'm definitely not a power player, so just curious.

black comes with the white-colored legendary, and vice versa.
the white-colored legendary looks cooler and is a bit better type-wise so i think people might choose it over the others.
but TBH other than those two legendaries, everythings pretty much the same.

the only thing im looking forward to is the new ghost and steel types

Their both equal type wise. Why would Nintendo only make one better than  the other? They wanna sell both versions.

they're not.
the one from black has both ground, dragon, psychic and fire moves available, and has TONS more sp attack and defense, making its moves alot stronger, where the other only has dragon psychic and thunder type moves, and slightly higher HP.

nintendo doesn't care if one's better than the other, they want them to seem different and make people want both to buy their games.

they don't really care about the fans much anymore, and thats why their sales are really low in NA/EU branches :C
