Social sites are making personal information easily accessible. Only a few years ago you had to actually have a conversation with someone to find something out about them. I Like having a private life outside of the public domain.

how can you ever hope to have a relationship with someone if you don't take the time to have not just a conversation, but numerous ones. how do you know you like or love someone, if you don't know them, first? 'love at first sight' is a nice sentiment, but i think most of us are grown-up enough to realize it's a fairytale. or maybe just translates to 'damn they're hot- i want them and don't need to get to know them because THEY'RE HOT AND I WANT THEM.'

But if the Disney channel tells me it's true, then it MUST be so!  True love is entirely based on just seeing someone who's hot.  Personalities ALWAYS work when the main characters are pretty.
