I was tempted, but didn't go. They're in Abbotsford in August, though!

No kidding? We should totally go.

It's tempting, if I'm not tied up with work that weekend. Tickets are $80 plus service charges, though. Ouch. =/

Ouch! Maybe I don't want to see them that badly...

Yeah, that's kind of what I was thinking. I'm debating travel in the fall, so springing for an expensive concert might be iffy right now.

Man, I remember when I payed, like, $25 to see Rush at the Pacific Coliseum back when people didn't go "What's Rush?" I think I paid $40 for the Stones at BC Place in '89...

... where'd I put my cane?

I ate it.

The only concert I've ever been to in my life was Octoberfest at the Plaza of Nations, in 2005.  I went to see Nazareth, but never got to see them because my group got in a fight and dragged me out of there.

I'm taking my wife to see Keith Urban next month for our 1 year anniversary.  He throws an amazing concert.

I got row 6 for Great Big Sea at the Malkin Bowl Sept. 11. =)

Then I get to get up super early in the morning the next day for a business trip. =P

Since I just moved to BC, and needs a job, I wont be looking to see any concerts for awhile...

Best I ever saw though?

-Paul McCartney at the Plains of Abraham in Quebec City for its 400th Bday (it was freeee!)
-BNL for my 18th Bday (got siiick)
-SOAD a few years back.. jeez they know how to rock a crowd into a frenzy..

Oh, lucky! I was there a few days too early for work... wish I'd been around for the big celebrations. That would have been awesome.

think about 300,000 fans of varying ages, races, and languages all coming together to ask that we all give peace a chance... it was beyond beautiful, it was spiritual! That man knows how to rock, and I braved huge crowds and the heat all day to hear him play, had to work the next day with half an hour of sleep in my veins but it was SO WORTH IT!
