How was YOUR Hallowe'en?

Title pretty much says it.  What did you do this Hallows Eve?

For example:

I went to two parties (one up at Cultus Lake on Saturday; one in Vancouver on Sunday) dressed up as a rogue commando: full tac-vest, leg-holster, leg-pouch, spray-painted airsoft M16, desert camo headband, and a half-smoked cigar hangin from my mouth.

First party I was pretty hammered.  A friend of mine from high-school who's two years younger than me invited me up to his bigass cottage and I was pretty much the only person there over the age of 20. XD  Lots of wasted 18-year-olds running around and hitting on me just because I was the older guy (and I looked like Rambo XD)  Colton, the only person I knew there, got to experience his first time having a little too much alcohol, and I was trying to get him to drink water and stay standing.  Poor guy ended up passing-out in the bathroom.  I tried telling him that he could hang off me while I helped him to his bed where it was considerably more comfortable, and he kept just saying to me, "No Steve... just... just let me learn my lesson." XD

Sooo I left him there like he asked me to (he wouldn't let me pick him up) and I proceeded to sit down with the few remaining people and talk about shit while I drank a bunch of water to try and sober-up so I could drive home.  An hour later, we hear a thundering sound from the hallway and Colton comes crawling down it on his hands and knees, leaning against the walls.  I get up to help him and fireman-carry him to his bed.  I found an ice-cream pail in the laundry room and left it beside him with a glass of water.  Before I leave, he manages to mumble: "Steve?  You're a good man."

XD  I love drunk people.

Sunday I basically went out to my friend Jacquie's and helped her finish carving the awesome Dethklok silhouette pumpkins that I drew the faces of the band on.  We went to another party at her friend's place, but it was a little bit deader than Saturday's for the fact that most people had to work the next morning.  I drank a few beers, watched people play Rockband (I can't stand that game) and rocked-out on Matt's (the host) djembe when he brought it out and put some tribal music on.  He also brought out his hookah and some strawberry flavoured shisha and we rocked that shit out too. =P

If you got drinking-stories, I wanna hear 'em!  If you blew up pumpkins by hammering screecharoos and duct-taping them together, I wanna hear it!  If you went to a con or furry Hallowe'en-themed event, I wanna know!  Details! ^.=.^

I worked 12-5. Then I went home and watched 'Rocky Horror,' 'Ghost Ship' and 'Pet Sematary.'
Then I went to bed. It was kinda boring this year.  :(

I stayed in my room all day/night and sewed some hammocks to sell to other rat owners. Didn't watch TV or anything. ... I looked for some Halloween themed movie, but the only thing on at the time was that Olsen Twins movie and I have already seen that thing like, 3 times.

We talked with some suiters before and after their romp through Vancouver, then made a haunted gingerbread house. Still munching on the tasty bits of destruction.

Dressed up like an epic zombie at work (sold lots of shit considering i looked like hell LOL) then went to a halloween party and met someone pretty neat, and im working on trying to go out to coffee or something.  so overall? pretty sweet! ^.=.^

I understand that scissors can beat paper, and I get how rock can beat scissors, but there's no way paper can beat rock. Paper is supposed to magically wrap around rock, leaving it immobile? Why can't paper do this to scissors? Screw scissors, why can't paper do this to people? Why aren't sheets of college ruled notebook paper constantly suffocating students as they attempt to take notes in class? I'll tell you why, because paper can't beat anybody; a rock would tear it up in two seconds. When I play Rock-Paper-Scissors, I always choose rock. Then, when somebody claims to have beaten me with their paper, I can punch them in the face with my already clenched fist, and say, "Oh sorry, I thought paper would protect you."

I was at a party on the 30th out in Nanaimo, and at work on the 31st! I worked at Fright Nights and that was my last night. Though usually I'm an actor inside the house 'Darkness' I was put on security that night as 'Back of House' and it was so much FUN! Listening to the random conversations on the radios, enjoying funny conversations with security, laughing at my roamers scaring the attendees, and getting to wear an awesome employee jacket and radio! I felt special that night. :3 Funny thing that happened that night, my three roamers were scaring this one chick who kept moving closer to me, and when one of them snuck up behind her, she lunged at me and grabbed my jacket, and hid her head by my shoulder and wouldn't leave until her friend came and got her. When she did, her nails scratched my chest close to my neck; three gashes visible enough in the dim light at work! I told my foreperson Aaron and he was amazed that even when I wasn't acting inside the house, I still could get hurt LOL! Ahh, but that was the best night/job evar! Can't wait till the awesome staff party! :P

I was seriously considering volunteering as an actor for fright night this year.
In high school our Drama group volunteered as actors in a haunted barn as charity for an elementary school. It was in some soccer mom's barn that she had redecorated as a haunted house, all costumes and props were provided by her. Those were a fun couple of years.  :)
Too bad I didn't quit work sooner, otherwise I might have been able to do the fright night thing.
