Dislike the "Forum Games" section?

I've received a number of comments from folks who think the "Forum Games" section is too spammy.

If this applies to you I can set you up with a custom usergroup that hides this section.  Post here, PM me, or contact me in some other way to have this section permanently hidden.

It is pretty spammy, but it doesn't bother me since I just don't look at it.

Clearly I am weird, this is  the part of the forums I enjoy the most. Though of course the events threads are more important to me. C'est la vie!

Yes, to each their own - nothing is changing about the boards so don't worry.

The changes will only be made to each person's specific user account.

Also for a short period of time people in the no games group will have a cool blue name in the "who's online" section so act now! (I forgot to turn off the colour, will do it later)

I'm with Felix here.  I don't have time to spend on the forum games, so I simply ignore those topics.
I don't see them, they don't get in my way, so they don't bother me.

Edit:  they're getting too numerous to ignore now, as they push older messages off the "most recent posts" list,
which is limited to only 100 messages.  There are often more than 100 new messages a day now, so sometimes
I miss announcements that I want to see.

The only game thread I pay attention to is my "BANNED!" thread. If I can have everything from the forum games except my thread, then sign me up. If not, then nevermind. =(

I assume it removes all of those threads from most recent posts? If so, please disable that board for me, too - thanks.

I wouldn't mind them except for that they tend to push the threads I'm interested in off the recent posts.
