yes it would have, but atleast it would be perfectly realistic, and could have the worn paint effect

Ooh, another 405th Member?

I'm currently working on some Reach stuff, and wanting the weather to get better to fiberglass my stuff.

impressive work would love to have a spartan suit or make one

rather curious since I haven't worked with fiberglass before is there anything on the inside of your paper model or is it hollow this makes me want to try it or at the very least attempt a helm (haven't done any work like this before but can generally pick things up quickly)

also would be rather curious as to materials which you would suggest that is cost effective yet good for projects like this

I've never done anything like this but would love to try and give it ago looks like it could be fun if you have any suggestions for first timers like me I would greatly appreciate it

Oh my goodness! Sorry for the slow responses. And no.. Not done yet, been working CONSTANTLY, but I'm starting on this all again.  To choco, this is the most cost effective way, no there is nothing inside the paper model once it's done, you just layer fiberglass resin in a few coats inside and out to build up the rigidity until it can handle the weight of the fiberglass and resin together.
The best materials?
110 lb cardstock (staples)
super glue ( most guys dont use it, you loose lots of skin. But WAY faster and far more accurate then white glue or hot glue like most people use)
Then Fiberglas and finishing products.

The vast sum of the parts there.
OH! besides patience... LOTS and LOTS of patience...
Once again so sorry for the slow response, I will post updates if I can ever get my new dam helmet made, and I will be finishing up my legs (fully pepped, in process of modifying them to fit a tad bit better) and first few coats of resin on em
Need to finish pepping the Cod peice, missing two parts, might be hard to find em ha ha
Need to finish fore arms, they are partially fiberglassed.
Need to pep chest peice
Need to finish one shoulder/bicep and make one new one.
