I've heard some stuff about Kelowna's Regional Transit System and how it's not very good. It might not be such a good idea to aim for the very last bus of the night because it could be full, or the driver just might not have seen you.
Honestly I'm not sure how Kelowna's transit problems compare to Victoria's... but in Victoria BC Transit has a tendency to run 33-seater buses on the busiest of routes... and as such they end up completely full and unable to pick anybody up for most of the route. An example is the 70X Swartz Bay/Downtown Express - a route which needs a double-decker when it connects with the ferries - is most of the time a single-decker bus with 33 seats. BC Transit's wondering why they've got a capacity problem where pass-ups are frequent... I have the answer. Whether they've taken any notice of me remains to be seen though  ;)

The bus was definitely empty and I was standing on a sidewalk that had no trees/buildings around and it was very well lit, so he must have been blind. But yes, Kelowna is terrible. I remember when I went to Vancouver for a weekend and their transit was like heaven to me. :'D

But yeah, BC Transit really needs to get it's shit sorted out, my friends and I who bus a lot always have problems with it and I definitely can't afford to have a vehicle. :\

no sleep again last night >.< and doesn't look like I get to sleep until later today at lease D: my stomach is starting to feel really off (also the huge de-dutch breakfast I had doesn't help xD)

Caught the flu or something the morning after new years. My stomach can't even hold down water.
I've always been told to never look a life behind a window to go outside and join the world, but what about the world behind that window makes the outside so much better?

Sleep cycle is *completely* banjaxed right now. I'm about to go on an overnight shift, and I feel half-dead and wholly disoriented. Being unable to breathe properly asleep right now is not helping either, owing to a horrific allergic reaction to... something. I hate having an overactive immune system some days.

Drink more water, and add a bit of salt to it.
(contrary to conventional "wisdom", the body does actually need salt to keep the water from escaping)

Wubthump music. Great. You have speakers, neighbour. Congratulations. You're irritating and waking a very sick otter who works nights. The building's acoustic insulation is good enough to have let Trapa play action movies on a 5.1 system without any sound bleed-over in this building; If I can hear the music, it's beyond too loud; Frankly I'm surprised they have eardrums left.
