When they insist you bring a portfolio of work, but your laptop is too big for your fancy bag that you can't afford, so you go buy an iPad, telling yourself it's an investment for when you'll do more mobile and app design, but when you bring it, they're all up to speed on your work, and hardly even touch what is a barely day old iPad. You also fear your imminent rent-cheque-bounce as a result, and cringe at what's worse; that you bought the iPad and get the job- rendering it's purpose fulfilled and forwardly useless, or that it didn't work as it was intended, and now you're in a puddle of your own ungulence wondering how you got it wrong.

Everyday in Vancouver someone is either killed or raped.

People litter everyday, even if they're on their way home and can just hold it in their hand or put it in their pocket.

Any medical procedure or medicinal drug, that's far superior then what most people look into. Is being pushed aside and not reported on, because it has no Market value. Why? Because it's usually derived from a plant. And you can't patent plants, so companies can't ensure they're product when they make, say a cancer killing drug, from a plant that actually grows locally in our environment.
Instead it's more profitable for logging companies to clear cut the area and killing all these life saving plants.

Children are chronically being brought into sex slavery.

Many advances in technology, from independent Inventors, that would overthrow our current economics. Have been shut down, and at times the Inventors have actually gone missing after publishing their discovery.

My complaint is potholes... I was coming around a corner this morning leaving the shop I work at and the car I was driving hit a pothole. The road was wet and hitting the pothole in the middle of a corner caused the car to spin out and slam the driver front door into a tree. Airbags deployed and the impact tweaked the frame of my car. Car is totalled but I was able to drive it home. On the good side, I am relatively ok other than a sore back and a sore neck. Also lucky to hit what I did as had I slid 15-20 more feet I would have hit the back of a tractor trailers trailer. Just hoping I didn't suffer whiplash as the effects take place about 2 days after injury (had it before and it is horrible). So all things said, I really really hate potholes....

This flipping annoying legal memo i have due Monday with such odd facts and everyone in my class freaking out about it more than actually writing the damn thing!

There's also a rumour going around my class that one of the instructors got fired and there is no prove of that. Just a girl has an idea and is running with it.

simple way to find out if the instructor has been fired -- call the main switchboard and when answered ask for the teacher.. if they say one moment, and he answers then not fired, but if you are told they do not work here any more then the rumour is true.

We know this guy is no longer around. Not very many instructors in the Legal Studies department at Capilano. We all just kind of thought he left to finish his PhD at UBC.
