Things to complain about

On Wednesday night, I went over to a Save-On pharmacy to get my tetanus booster because I sometimes work with old, possibly rusty sewing machines.

It didn't hurt much when I got the injection, but my arm did hurt for a couple of days afterwards where the needle went in, and I haven't been able to lean on that part of the arm even yet.
Some kinds of motion still hurt a bit too.

Fortunately, it's only a minor complaint, and haven't needed to take any painkillers after two or three days.
I should probably try some heat on it to see if that helps relax it...

Oh yeah, and they charged me sixty bucks to do it too.
(apparently, because I don't have kids I don't qualify for the free one, for some strange reason)

So far, after having worked 3 nights and 13 more to come, the cold weather has finally gotten to me and has laid me with sick Q.Q lol but I guess it doesn't really help that my outfit is a ghillie suit, those things are all string and no warmth ;3; though thankfully I have 3 full days to rest and get better before I have to go back to work for another 4 days ;D

(mini rant)

Paper Tigers, or shall I say "Paper (Species here)" I dunno what its been lately, maybe the planets have aligned with the ass crack of Miss Cleo or something but I have run into just a bizarrely high amount of people lately who are trying waaay to damn hard to try and "live up" to their species in the most plastic and just sleazy ways. Its becoming quickly one of my biggest furry pet peeves, if you are a cat, you can be a cat without acting like a spoiled brat bipolar princess, if you are a wolf you don't gotta be "pack leader" macho man number 12,655,387 to be a wolf. (and not sparing my species here) and if you are a dragon, playing up the king-shit thing while in reality hiding in a corner, limiting your social life while just bluntly going "I hate humans" doesn't make you more of a dragon.


Honestly this all sorta stemmed from some tools I ran into a while back who tried to pull the whole "you don't really seem like a _______" crap. Honestly I find that offensive and akin to saying "fuck personality, you gotta be a stereotype to be your species" Its even worse when you get it from people who share the same species. In my case total tools who honestly think that limiting your vocabulary to words like "oh" and "ah" as well as never been amused with anything as well as never doing anything that involves socializing outside their own little circle of friends gives off this air of being more dragon like when in reality it makes them seem more like a really well practiced emo with all the depth of a dried up puddle and the social skills of a corpse.

Onto to smaller everyday challenges:

Major online services choose the night from Saturday to Sunday to be down for System Maintenance. Oh and to add, every new operating system bears its obstacles as free as they are.
