Faced with a cold since Easter can be just as bad  :D

Being reserved to say that I am fully healed, still continuing with tea treatment.

Got a fairly nasty shock at work today. Guest served a complaint about their cable quality being terrible, it was, another guest in their party in a different room offered the same complaint. Did the logical thing, went to check the cable status in a neighbouring room, touched the power button on the TV, and got a decent zap. That was just the start of the fun. Glad I'm at home right now with my heart still beating, today sucked massively.

Yikes, hope it wasnt as bad as Wovianart getting us into using his electrical shock tool at the March Furmeet. Basically we all were in a circle and power gradually came from one to another in the circle. Then I had the idea to kiss the person in front of me and we got fairly zapped.

Oh right, that was fun. I couldn't feel my hands as they rose up against my will.

So I tried to take my driving test today to finally get rid of my N and failed due to a couple minor things.. no biggie even though I'm down $50 because of it. Then on the way home I get pulled over by a cop who said my exaust was too noisy and have to follow him out of town to test it. So ten mins later it turns out he doesn't have a tester and another cop has to bring one. So finally 45mins later the second cop arrives and they test it. Turns out im 10x over the legal max DB and have 30 days to fix it. So now i have to ruin my expenive exaust by welding a crap muffler onto it and pay for my own inspection on top of that. I don't even have the money to do that right now but if i don't get it done they will tow my car and charge me $600 >.<

I really wish they would go after things that really matter instead of harrasing people like me. We are all paying for there services after all ...
So in short I had a terrible ****ing day :'(

So pack your muffler with steel wool then have it inspected.

Seriously though 10x over the limit?   Nothing wrong with something that sounds nice if its reasonable.

Measured 1.7 feet from the tip of the muffler and around 3/4 of the max RPM.

Anything over 90db is going to get you into trouble.

79db is the tolerance level for people.

Hehe I was thinking of going the steel whool route. If memory serves it was about 92db at half way to redline. Though I managed to find a store that will sell me the correct silencer for my muffler so I hope works well enough to pass inspection.
I'm still pissed they went after me for that though. Sure it can be loud but if you rev the crap out of it. But as long as you shift in a timley fasion it's not enough to annoy anyone or stand out from the rest of the traffic noise.

Horrible worrisome and painful health. for several months now have had mild to moderate chest pain (moderate as of late mostly), feels like clogged veins, shooting pains wherever blood flows, soreness of all the joints, as well as the most worrying thing, the heart feeling like it's struggling >.> I'm a firm believer of being able to deal with health crap (read: I hate all doctors as they constantly act like they know everything but make you jump through hoops for diagnoses which is total BS imo) on my own but the past couple weeks I've been thinking it might be too little too late to fix this stuff; I have been exercising and lost 35lbs recently but I'm far from healthy. I also spent 4 solid years eating nothing but crap (I'm serious, NO fresh anything) due to having no cooking skills and I think it really took my body for a rough ride. I've been changing my diet as best as I can on my restricted income but its hard and can't just happen all overnight.
It probably doesn't help that my estranged mother is on her way to her grave (probably has maybe a year, two tops) as of late from failing lungs/heart that add to the worry that I'm not far behind. My overall daily situation is frustrating as there are many causes of stress that I have no real control over constantly just making me miserable.

Anyways. Sorry for the rant and negativity spewage (even though this is probably the thread for doing so), I just really needed to get it out of my head as best as I could...doing so does relieve a bit of the stress, if only temporarily.

I've got to move out, and soon. My parents' negativity has already affected my demeanour, causing me to be kind of dour.

I'm hoping that it's not permanent, and that I can find a job soon with which to pay for a place of my own. =>.<=

Can't really say why but I'm feeling that highly negative emotion that you just can't place when you have it.
I don't know if I'm tired, depressed, mad, sad, grieving, alone, stressed, or what to even call it.
Its that feeling like your heart is in your throat, and your body wants to throw up every time you think about your life.
Its that feeling where you just want to crawl inside of yourself and disappear forever, where every little thing that you can think of makes it feel worse.
I have no clue what I want to do with my life or how to move forward, I just wish that I could still cry like I used to be able to, but I can't. You don't know how good crying it until you lose it, such a release of emotion all at once.

The dull wisdom tooth pain is getting a tad more frequent. Looks like I'll have to get it out soon in less than a month's time.  :-\

Okay, so pulldown bars on universal gyms are designed so that the cable goes straight up and straight down. Sometimes it goes forwards if the person using it is doing some funky thing a step or two away from the machine. That's fine.

Considering that, I'm not entirely sure how someone in my building managed to take the pulldown bar on our universal machine and pull it so hard and so far to one side that it pulled the cable out of its run - past a large bolt intended to keep it in place - and completely out of place. While fraying the cable in the process.

I can only imagine that some overmuscled Neanderthal thought it would be fun to swing on it side to side until it went sproing, thereby leaving the rest of us unable to use it. Which, considering I just started getting weights into my routine for the last couple of weeks, is really rather irritating.
