Dunno if this is the right place or not. x3 Anyways, I might be getting sent to Kelowna for like a week to do some work and put in a bunch of overtime. My food and stuff is paid for, so does anyone know any good restaurants or things to do while I'm there?

why are so many people in this town scared of crack-heads? our crack addicts are so much kinder then the ones in vancouver, :P

but seriously, there is nothing to do here. i tried to post earlier, but i couldn't think of one thing. thats why so many of my friends just get drunk all the time. mini golf is only fun so many times while sober.

I was more looking along the lines of good restaurants. :P

I'm with Albi insofar as extra curricular activities go. And crackheads, too, actually; the worst I've ever seen here is an incredibly drunk man riding a bicycle downtown at 2am.

More on topic, it really depends on the kind of food you're interested in and where you want to go. If you've got a decent amount of time your hands, I highly recommend wandering some of the main streets downtown. The Bohemian Cafe is quite popular, or there's the Grateful Fed, which has various events on certain nights (their website lists all upcoming events if you're interested). The Fed is small, but quite cool, and their food is really good for the price. There are also a lot of different types of Asian-inspired restaurants in the same area; they could easily outnumber the others, I'd bet. For a much classier dining experience, there's Rick's Grill, which has some really good food, The Yellow House, which is also good, but has an extremely limited menu, Mama Rosa's, home to some of the best Italian food you can get outside of Italy, and, my personal favourite, La Bussola, another Italian restaurant that only outclasses Mama Rosa's in my mind only because of their delicious creme caramel.
